The Brazilian market has just received an exciting new development in the scooter segment: the Citycoco, with an impressive 3000W of power, is now available and is approved by Detran. This electric scooter model, which retains similarities to the established classic design, has been updated with improvements and new configurations compared to previous versions, promising an enhanced experience for users.

New Electric Scooter With 3000W Of Power Can Deliver Up To 70 Km/h

The new scooter approved by Detran uses a motor located in the center of the rear wheel hub and can deliver up to 3000W of power. This engine can take the rider to speeds of up to 70 km/h and has significant torque for medium to large hills.

Clearly, in these cases, the scooter with 3000W of power loses a bit of performance, however, it can conquer slopes. According to the manufacturer, it can carry up to 180 kg of load, although it also loses some performance in this case. It is important to emphasize that the 3000W of the scooter approved by Detran is distributed across three driving modes that can be selected by the rider.

The first mode limits speed to 25 km/h, the second mode limits it to 50, and the third mode provides the maximum speed of the electric vehicle. These classic models, already known to the market, have the battery located in the front space beneath the seat.

This compartment has access to the battery and also features a connection plug for the component. A highlight for the battery relates to the scooter’s safety, as the components are positioned inside the motorcycle’s compartment, protected both from a key perspective and also the plug.

This is a significant differentiator, as this scooter features a remote-controlled alarm, but if the user activates the scooter’s alarm and the plug is at the front, it is enough for the person to unplug it, thus easily disabling the alarm.

New Scooter With 3000W Of Power Delivers 55 Km Of Autonomy

Now regarding the battery specifications, it operates at 60 volts with a capacity of 21 amperes each, thus providing autonomy that can reach 55 km.

It is worth noting that it is still possible to add another battery to the scooter approved by Detran, almost doubling its autonomy. The model uses 12-inch alloy wheels both at the rear and at the front.

Another highlight is its standard hydraulic disc brakes on both wheels. Regarding its structure, it utilizes a full steel frame and features a shock absorber on the front fork and springs at the rear that absorb impacts encountered on the road well. The scooter with 3000W of power weighs around 88 kg.

Equipment Of The New Scooter Approved By Detran

Regarding the handlebar items, on the left side, there is a switch to turn the high and low beams on and off, a left and right turn signal selector, and a horn button.

In the center, it has a large digital display that provides a range of information such as speed, partial and total odometer, battery level, and riding mode. On the right side of the handlebar, there is the throttle, riding mode control, and another horn.

Regarding the lighting, the scooter approved by Detran features 100% LED headlights, including a stylish front light, dynamic indicators at the rear and front, and a brake light also in LED.
