The Volkswagen T-Cross closed the first half of 2025 as the best-selling new SUV in Brazil.
The data, released by the National Federation of Motor Vehicle Distribution (Fenabrave), reveals the dominance of the Volkswagen model in the national market, with an impressive 44,529 units registered in just six months.
This leadership was consolidated over the months, with the T-Cross maintaining the lead even in June, when it totaled 8,629 units sold, well ahead of the main competitors.

The performance of the T-Cross in the first half of 2025 was striking.
With 44,529 units, it was well ahead of the second place, the Honda HR-V, which closed with 32,002 registrations. The third place went to the Hyundai Creta, with 31,177 units.

The competition between the middle positions also drew attention. The Compass, for example, surpassed the Tracker and returned to the fifth position. The Fastback also gained a position and overtook the Kicks.
June Confirms Leadership
Even with the arrival of new models and the expectation around facelifts, the T-Cross maintained its leadership in June as well.
There were 8,629 units registered in this period, compared to 6,415 for the Hyundai Creta and 6,179 for the Honda HR-V.
The list of best-selling vehicles in June also includes:
- Toyota Corolla Cross: 5,335 units
- Chevrolet Tracker: 4,993 units
- Fiat Fastback: 4,930 units
- Volkswagen Nivus: 4,731 units
- Jeep Compass: 4,546 units
- Fiat Pulse: 3,823 units
- Jeep Renegade: 3,411 units
Another highlight of the month was the Volkswagen Tera, which is already among the best sellers even with just a few days of sales. With 2,555 units, it outpaced models like the Citroën Basalt, Renault Duster, and Renault Kardian.
How Much Does It Cost To Finance A T-Cross?
