Confirmed Debut for 2026 Marks Strategic Entry of Pernambuco Manufacturer in the Street Segment, with 170 cc Engine, Competitive Declared Consumption and Focus on Daily Urban Use in One of the Most Disputed Markets of Two Wheels in Brazil.
A Avelloz confirmed that it will launch, in the second half of 2026, the AZ170 Bravo, its first motorcycle aimed at urban use in Brazil.
The debut marks the official entry of the Pernambuco manufacturer into the street segment, currently one of the most disputed in the two-wheeled market in the country.
The company, which built its presence mainly with scooters and low-displacement models, expands its portfolio after having launched the trail AZ160 Xtreme.

The new Renault Koleos has a screen exclusively for the passenger that is invisible to the driver, heated rear seats, and 29 assistance systems, but its Chinese competitors cost R$ 40,000 less and deliver more power.
Now, with the AZ170 Bravo, Avelloz aims to gain traction in a displacement range that concentrates high sales volume and direct competition from traditional brands and new manufacturers that have emerged in recent years.
Avelloz Entry into the Street Motorcycle Market

The confirmation of the launch repositions Avelloz as a Brazilian brand that aims to operate beyond scooters.
The AZ170 Bravo was developed in partnership with Loncin, a Chinese group that provides mechanical bases for different projects in international markets, according to specialized publications.
The information released so far indicates that the proposal is to cater to daily use, with robust line design and focus on cost-effectiveness, but without yet revealing items such as a complete equipment package, price, and exact start date for sales.
The manufacturer stated that these details will be presented later.
Even before reaching stores, the model is already associated with the aim of increasing its presence in a territory historically dominated by Honda and Yamaha, with the recent consolidation of other brands that have grown in volume.
This interpretation, however, relies more on market movement than on projected numbers, as Avelloz has not released public sales targets for the new street motorcycle.
170 cc Engine, Declared Power and Urban Consumption
The technical specifications released in reports indicate that the AZ170 Bravo will have a 170 cm³ single-cylinder engine, with OHC, four valves, and oil cooling.

The announced power is 18.3 hp, with 1.5 kgf.m of torque and compression ratio of 9.8:1.
Regarding consumption, the brand mentions an estimated average of about 35 km/l.
As this is a figure provided by the manufacturer, and has yet to be validated by independent tests, the number should be understood as a preliminary reference for urban positioning.
Although the displacement is close to what the market typically refers to as “entry-level”, the declared power places the motorcycle in a competitive range among urban profile models that prioritize economy and simple maintenance.
However, the real performance depends on factors such as weight, gear setting, and injection calibration, items that have not yet been detailed by Avelloz.
Suspension, Brakes and Cycling Set Observed
The images released in specialized articles suggest a simple cycling set, with a conventional telescopic fork at the front and two rear shock absorbers.
In the braking system, it features a disc brake on the front wheel, without official confirmation at this time regarding the standard at the rear or the presence of ABS or CBS.
This type of package typically aims for a balance between simplicity and cost, especially in motorcycles designed for urban commuting.
On the other hand, the definition of safety and convenience items tends to be decisive in this category, as direct competitors vary widely in what they offer as standard.

As Avelloz has not yet presented the complete specification, there is also no confirmation regarding dashboard, lighting, connectivity, tank capacity, and maintenance intervals.
The company indicated only that new data will be released in the coming months.
Direct Competitors and Market Positioning
In segment communication, the AZ170 Bravo has been associated with competition against already established urban models such as Honda CG 160 and Yamaha Factor 150, as well as options from brands that have recently increased their presence in Brazil, such as Bajaj and Haojue.
The comparison serves as a reference for positioning but does not mean that the products are equivalent in price, after-sales service, or availability of parts.
This aspect weighs particularly for a smaller manufacturer, as the purchase of a daily-use motorcycle tends to consider, in addition to fuel consumption, the service network and maintenance costs.
Nevertheless, the Brazilian market has shown openness to new brands when the proposal combines competitive pricing and regular supply.
In 2025, the ranking of best-selling brands published based on registration data indicates the leadership of Honda and Yamaha, with Shineray in third, followed by Mottu and then Avelloz.
Avelloz Registrations and Brand Expansion
From January to November 2025, a survey published based on registration data places Avelloz in the fifth position among brands, with 29,710 units.
Reports from the specialized media also noted significant progress by the manufacturer in 2025 compared to previous periods, attributing part of the movement to the increased volume of models already marketed in the country.
Nevertheless, the gap to the leading brands remains large, and entering the street segment increases the demands on network, stock, and service capacity.
Currently, the company’s portfolio includes the AZ160 Xtreme, as well as models aimed at other proposals and smaller displacements, which helped consolidate regional presence.
With the AZ170 Bravo confirmed for 2026, Avelloz will compete for a space where volume, reliability, and after-sales support are decisive for success.
