“Stainless steel is one of the most corrosion-resistant materials, even when exposed to highly aggressive physical-chemical environments. It is also capable of maintaining its mechanical properties at elevated temperatures, such as in steelmaking furnaces. This resistance and durability make stainless steel a long-lasting material with low maintenance needs, which further enhances its cost-effectiveness and explains its high application in this industrial sector,” adds the executive.
