The Brazilian steel sector recently announced a resumption of investments in the country. With some government incentives, the sector is expected to invest the equivalent of R$ 100 billion by 2028, aimed at expanding its productive structure.

Present in different stages and structural applications, stainless steel is a vital material for the national steel sector. It is present in processing equipment, piping systems, furnace linings, exhaust and filtration systems, tools, and other equipment. Ledo explains that this is due to the fact that the metal alloy has advantages over other materials, such as resistance to corrosion and high temperatures.

“Stainless steel is one of the most corrosion-resistant materials, even when exposed to highly aggressive physical-chemical environments.
