The sale of a farm belonging to a country singer Beloved Baptist by R $ million 350 took the agricultural market by surprise and reinforced the heating of the sector in Brazil.
The transaction, confirmed by the Metrópoles portal, represents one of the largest financial movements in agribusiness in 2025 and highlights the appreciation of productive land in Mato Grosso.
The property, located in Cocalinho (MT), has state-of-the-art infrastructure, including an airstrip, rivers, lakes and an estimated herd of 17 thousand head of cattle.

With 7.200 km² of productive area, the farm has always been one of the best structured in the region, using cutting-edge technology to optimize both livestock and agriculture.
Sale was the result of years of negotiation and bureaucratic challenges
The singer had already expressed interest in selling the property since 2021, when the market learned of the deal through a public announcement.
Despite the high value involved, the process took years to complete, partly due to the complexity of the negotiations and also bureaucratic issues related to the rural sector.
Among the challenges faced by the singer was a environmental fine of R$1 million applied by Ibama in 2014, due to alleged infractions related to deforestation.
