Ana Hickmann is participating in the restoration alongside her husband, chef Edu Guedes. The presenter decided to support her partner in the recovery of the property and oversees changes that seek to maintain the original identity of the farm while ensuring sophistication.
Historical elements are preserved
The main residence retains important parts of the construction. Old floors, doors, and windows have been preserved, as well as wooden furniture undergoing restoration.
The couple’s proposal is to protect the essence of the property and enhance its historical details.
The kitchen retains thick walls and old cabinets, marks of the period when the farm was built.
In the lavatory, Portuguese tiles reinforce the historical value of the space and help highlight the connection between the original architecture and the new phase.
Spaces get updated
Even with a focus on preservation, the renovation includes changes to meet current demands.
The bedrooms are to be transformed into suites, while lighting and decoration items receive updates designed to make the spaces more functional and comfortable.
The replacement of chandeliers and the choice of new materials are part of this strategy. The goal is to create a farm that unites tradition and modernity, keeping the past visible without hindering the contemporary use of the spaces by the family and guests.
Spacious structure reinforces the property standard
The interior area of Casa Gialla stands out for its size and finish. Among the highlights is the dining room, equipped with a wooden table that seats ten people, designed for socializing and hosting guests.
Outside, the extensive garden enhances the sense of space and reinforces the tranquil atmosphere of the property. Integrated with the house, it helps compose a scene marked by the union of nature and architecture.
Name and proposal of Casa Gialla
The name Casa Gialla means Yellow House in Italian and summarizes the mix of references present in the project.
The farm is also being used as a backdrop for digital content and is expected to establish itself as a refuge for leisure and family gatherings.
