The Used 2023 Fiat Cronos Is a Compact Sedan That Combines Comfort, Efficient Transmission, Spacious Trunk, and Good Fuel Economy. See Details About Performance, Equipment, Prices, and More.

The Fiat Cronos was launched in Brazil in 2018 to replace the Grand Siena, bringing more modernity and interior space. Manufactured in Córdoba, Argentina, the model was based on the Argo and quickly gained traction among compact sedans.

The 2023 Fiat Cronos arrived after undergoing a redesign that included a new front grill, a steering wheel inherited from the Argo, and the introduction of a CVT transmission for versions equipped with a 1.3 Firefly engine.

The change marked the end of options with a 1.8 engine and conventional automatic transmission, consolidating the Cronos as a more rational and efficient option.

The transmission simulates seven gears and has a Sport mode, ensuring more agility when needed.

The 1.3 Firefly 16V engine delivers:

  • 107 hp with ethanol;
  • 98 hp with gasoline.

The sedan accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.6 seconds (ethanol) and reaches 11.6 seconds with gasoline, showing good performance for the model’s proposal.

Fuel Consumption

One of the strong points of the 1.3 CVT Cronos is its fuel economy. According to the Brazilian Vehicle Labeling Program (PBEV), the model shows competitive averages:

  • Ethanol: 9.3 km/l in the city and 10.8 km/l on the highway
  • Gasoline: 13.4 km/l in the city and 14.9 km/l on the highway

Comfort and Interior Space

The Cronos has a cabin with adequate space for five occupants, although it is more comfortable for four adults.

The well-tuned suspension ensures comfort while driving, although the acoustic insulation and interior finish are within the simple standard of the category.

With 525 liters, the trunk of the 2023 Fiat Cronos is one of the most spacious among compact sedans. The opening gap makes it easier to place larger bags, reinforcing the model’s family-oriented proposal.

Equipment and Versions

The Drive 1.3 CVT version is the most recommended in the used car market.

It comes with features such as traction and stability controls, hill start assist, rear sensor, tire pressure monitoring.

In addition to cruise control and multimedia with a 7” screen. Rearview camera, alloy wheels, and power mirrors were available as options.

The S-Design package adds dark touches to the body and interior, as well as 15-inch wheels, tilt down mirrors, and a rearview camera with dynamic lines.

Prices and Maintenance of the Fiat Cronos

The 2023 Fiat Cronos Drive 1.3 CVT costs between R$ 74,769 and R$ 87,926, varying between private negotiations and store prices.

As it has a three-year warranty, the revisions have prices within the average for the category:

  • 30,000 km: R$ 551
  • 40,000 km: R$ 1,567
  • 50,000 km: R$ 583

There are also complaints about noise in the transmission and steering, points that should be checked before purchasing a used car.
