The SUV, which shares its platform with the famous Ranger pickup truck, was designed to challenge the segment-leader Toyota SW4.
With luxury, cutting-edge technology and impressive performance, Everest aims to redefine standards in the segment.
Power under the hood: the 2.3 EcoBoost engine
One of the biggest attractions of the Everest is its 2.3 turbo EcoBoost engine, the same one used in iconic models such as the Mustang, Bronco and F-150.
This engine delivers 300 hp of power and 45,4 kgfm of torque, coupled to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
4×4 traction, with reduced gear option and differential lock, completes the mechanical package.
Performance promises to be one of the highlights, with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8,6 seconds.
Estimated consumption is 8,3 km/l in the city and 12,9 km/l on the highway. Compared to the segment standard, which generally relies on diesel engines, this choice is a bet on performance and sophistication.
Design with comfort in mind
Despite sharing the platform with the Ranger, the Everest offers a different experience to the driver and passengers.
The model's rear suspension has been adjusted to prioritize comfort, replacing the pickup's leaf springs with coil springs and a stabilizer bar.
The result is more refined dynamic behavior, ideal for long trips and urban routes. This, combined with the engine's power, promises a unique driving experience in the segment.
Technology and luxury
In the Argentine market, the Everest will be offered in the top-of-the-line Titanium version, with an impressive list of standard equipment. Highlights include:
- Panoramic sunroof;
- 20 inch wheels;
- Full-LED headlights and taillights;
- 8-inch digital panel and 12-inch multimedia;
- Third-row seats fold down to accommodate up to seven passengers.
In addition, the model has personalized driving modes, such as Normal, Eco, Tow/Haul, Slippery, Sand and Mud/Ruts, to meet different needs and terrains.
ADAS package: safety in focus
The Everest 2025 doesn’t skimp on driver assistance systems. Its ADAS package includes:
- Forward collision warning with pedestrian detection;
- Automatic emergency braking;
- Blind spot and rear cross traffic alert;
- Lane keeping assist;
- Rear view camera and adaptive cruise control.
These features aim to provide a safe and modern driving experience, reinforcing the model's competitiveness in the SUV segment.
Everest in Brazil: when is it coming?
The possibility of launching Everest in Brazil is still uncertain.
Importing a gasoline engine from Thailand may not be viable for the domestic market, where diesel engines are preferred. predominant among SUV consumers of that size.
However, local production at the Pacheco factory in Argentina, next to the Ranger, could facilitate its arrival in Brazil. P
For now, we just have to wait for Ford's next moves.

What attracts me most about the Ranger is exactly the engine... 250hp...
Everest with a 300hp engine… would be the icing on the cake.
I'm waiting for the launch to purchase it... now with this new feature... it would be even better.
Ford is finally getting its models right, because we know they are the best vehicles, what was missing was to improve the sales floor, which has been happening, the Everest will be an excellent option, given its great performance.
But the diesel engine was one of the main attractions. In Brazil it won't sell if there isn't a diesel version.
