With an investment of R$476 million, the Minha Casa, Minha Vida program will build 2.609 homes and benefit 10 Brazilians.
The housing program My home, my life continues to expand its initiatives with a significant new investment. The contract for the construction of 2.609 new homes was authorized by the Ministry of Cities, according to an ordinance published in the Official Gazette of the Union this Friday (13/9). The total amount allocated to the project is R$476,1 million, and the expectation is to benefit more than 10 thousand Brazilians in various regions of the country. Minha Casa, Minha Vida has been one of the main public housing policies in Brazil, focused on offering housing to low-income families. With this new round of investments, the program will cover all five regions of Brazil, focusing on urban areas that already have or are in the process of expanding infrastructure.
Central-West and North regions receive new housing
O investment Minha Casa, Minha Vida will guarantee the construction of housing units in states across the five Brazilian regions.
In the Central-West, the states of Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul were included.

In Cuiabá (MT), 192 new homes will be built, while in the municipality of Naviraí (MS) there will be the construction of 60 housing units.
In the North region, the program will serve two states. In Acre, the capital Rio Branco will receive 333 new homes, distributed across two housing complexes: Minha Dignidade Rosa Linda and Minha Dignidade Santo Antônio II.
In Amazonas, 320 units will be built in Manaus, through the Morar Melhor 22 and Morar Melhor 23 projects.
These homes are part of an ongoing effort to reduce the housing deficit in regions historically lacking adequate infrastructure.
Northeast receives investment in several cities
In the Northeast, several cities will also benefit from the new investment from My House, My Life.
The state of Sergipe, for example, will have the construction of 480 homes in the city of Lagarto, with emphasis on the Cidade Nova Etapa I, II and III residential complexes.
In Bahia, two cities will be included: Itamaraju, which will receive 150 new housing units, and Teixeira de Freitas, with 248 new residences.
Still in the Northeast region, the state of Pernambuco will benefit from 144 new homes in Santa Cruz do Capibaribe, within the Residencial Santa Cruz do Capibaribe Mod I project.
The state of Piauí is also part of the list of cities included, with the construction of 50 new housing units in the municipality of Regeneração, which will be served by the Residencial Regeneração 2 project.
South and Southeast regions will also benefit from Minha Casa, Minha Vida
In addition to the Central-West, North and Northeast regions, the investment in the Minha Casa, Minha Vida program will be extended to the South and Southeast.
In the South, the state of Rio Grande do Sul will benefit from the construction of 440 new homes in Porto Alegre, within the San Gennaro I and II residential complexes.
In the Southeast region, São Gonçalo, in the state of Rio de Janeiro, will have 192 new housing units in the Residencial Reserva dos Manacás.
These investments represent an attempt to reduce the housing deficit in these regions, offering housing with access to basic services and, most importantly, bringing security and stability to low-income families.
Minha Casa, Minha Vida, by guaranteeing access to housing, also strengthens the local economy, generating jobs during the construction of units and boosting the infrastructure sector in areas where development is still in its infancy.
My Home, My Life and the social impact of investment
Minha Casa, Minha Vida not only stands out for the number of homes delivered, but also for the social impact generated in each community served.
The 2.609 new housing units that will be built in consolidated urban areas or in the expansion phase will contribute to a significant improvement in the quality of life of the families involved.
The regions served by the new investment are diverse, covering both capital cities and smaller cities. This demonstrates the national reach of the program, which aims to reduce regional inequalities in access to housing.
The Ministry of Cities, responsible for managing the program, reinforces that all units will be delivered with the necessary infrastructure to guarantee comfort and safety for families.
Furthermore, the works will contribute to the development of the surrounding areas, creating opportunities for employment, commerce and services.
The economic impact is also significant. Construction generates direct and indirect jobs, boosts the construction sector and has a multiplier effect on the local economy.
Each new home delivered represents an important step towards guaranteeing the right to decent housing for thousands of Brazilians.
The list of cities receiving investment from Minha Casa, Minha Vida includes several strategic locations, where the housing deficit is a challenge to be faced.
The buildings will provide more than just housing; they also have the potential to improve the quality of life of communities, bringing urban development and opportunities for growth.
With the new investment cycle of R$476,1 million, the Minha Casa, Minha Vida program reinforces its commitment to the low-income population, showing that housing is a priority for the Federal Government.
