With fun riding and economical fuel consumption, the bike followed the new features that had been presented in Thailand recently. Honda's new economical motorcycle has become sportier with certain changes that include a new fairing design, LED headlight and spoiler under the engine.
O Honda's economical motorcycle price is 390.500 yen, the equivalent of R$13 thousand in direct conversion. Also known as MSX125 in other markets, the Honda Grom 125 is like a modern Monkey following the brand's tradition of compact models. Regarding the sale of Honda's economical motorcycle in the Brazilian market, there is still no data that indicates this intention on Honda's part.
In Japan, the Honda Grom 125 motorcycle is being sold in white and matte black, including a USB-C socket in the package.

Honda's new economical motorcycle arrives with ABS brakes, 12-inch wheels and 125 cc engine
Coming from the same origin as models like Monkey and Dax, Honda's new budget bike is a more updated-looking alternative compared to its siblings. This small motorcycle with a seat just 76 mm high from the ground and small 12-inch wheels, also has ABS brakes, in the top of the line options, and even an inverted suspension at the front.
The Honda Grom 125 economical motorcycle is equipped with a 125 cc, single-cylinder engine, which produces 10 horsepower at 7.250 rpm and 1,06 kgfm of torque. The gearbox, in turn, has 5 speeds.
Honda's new economical motorcycle achieves 67 km/l
One of the highlights of the new Honda Grom 125 2024 is undoubtedly its low fuel consumption. According to the brand, the model can deliver up to 67,8 km with just one liter according to the WMTC (World Motorcycle Test Cycle) index. That's more than about 135 km on 2 liters of gasoline. Its tank has a capacity of 6 liters, which yields more than 400 km of autonomy.
It is always important to highlight, however, that fuel costs are also linked to the type of riding, condition of the product, loaded weight and quality of gasoline.
On the other hand, performance pays the price of great fuel economy, with top speed reaching just 91 km/h. It's worth mentioning that Monkey's cartoonish dimensions are intentional. The current generation was presented in 1961, meaning it has been in almost 60 years of almost uninterrupted production.
Honda focusing on the 125cc market
In addition to this economical motorcycle from Honda, the 125 Super Cub C2024 was officially launched on the Japanese market recently. Inspired by the classic Super Cub, in version 125, Honda's new motorcycle remains unchanged in its mechanical base, however it has new color combinations. The Honda 125 motorcycle maintains the nostalgic style that is popular around the world.
The value of the new model is 451 thousand yen, which is equivalent to R$15,2 thousand. There are no expectations regarding the arrival of the Honda 125 motorcycle in Brazil. Weighing just 110 kg, the Honda's new motorcycle is equipped with a 123cc single-cylinder engine that produces 9,8 horsepower at 7.500 rpm and 1 kgfm at 6.250 rpm, operating with a 4-speed gearbox.
The average consumption of Honda's economical motorcycle is 68,8 km/l, however it can reach 70 km/l when traveling at a constant speed of 60 km/h with two occupants. With this high economy, the tank is only 3,7 liters.
