Fiat Doblò: A spacious car, with power steering and efficient performance, ideal for families and long trips.

O Fiat The Doblò is a car model that stands out in the market for offering a unique combination of performance, comfort and, above all, space. The Fiat Doblò has become one of the most sought-after options for those looking for a versatile car, both for urban use and for longer trips. The model is ideal for those who need space, whether for transporting the family or for carrying luggage. In this article, we will talk about the model produced between 2012 and 2016.

Fiat Doblò Performance

The 1.8 Essence model is equipped with a 1.8L Flex E.torQ engine, which can be fueled with either ethanol or gasoline.

O engine The in-line 4-cylinder engine offers 132 hp on ethanol and 130 hp on gasoline, features that guarantee good performance for a car in this category.

The Fiat Doblò's power steering provides a smoother ride, especially in urban environments, where maneuvers may be more frequent.

Front-wheel drive and a 5-speed manual transmission ensure stable and efficient driving, while the car's fuel consumption remains at reasonable standards for a car of this size.

The performance of the Fiat Doblò is one of the reasons for its popularity, especially for those looking for a powerful yet economical car.

A comfortable car

The main advantage of the Fiat Doblò is its space. The model offers ample space for both passengers and cargo.

With capacity for up to 7 occupants, the Fiat Doblò is an excellent option for families who need a car with plenty of seats.

Furthermore, the model stands out for its trunk space, which holds up to 665 liters in the 5-seater version.

This space is ideal for those traveling with a lot of luggage or needing to transport large items.

Measuring 4.252 mm in length, 1.722 mm in width and 1.897 mm in height, the Fiat Doblô offers enough space to ensure comfort for occupants, whether on short or long trips.

The 545 kg payload also makes the model an excellent option for those who need a car with great load capacity.

The space inside the Fiat Doblò is one of the main reasons why many people choose this model.

Vehicle fuel consumption

The Fiat Doblò is also efficient in terms of fuel consumption.

Consumption in the city is 5,7 km/l with ethanol and 8,2 km/l with gasoline, while on the highway, consumption improves to 6,4 km/l with ethanol and 9,4 km/l with gasoline.

These numbers demonstrate that the car offers a good balance between performance and economy for a car with so much space.

Fuel economy is an important feature for those who use the vehicle both in the city and on longer trips.

This makes the Fiat Doblò a practical and affordable option for those looking for a spacious car that also offers good performance and fuel economy.

How much?

The price of the Fiat Doblò Essence 1.8 16v Flex 2012 in the Fipe Table is R$40.370.

Why is the Fiat Doblò the right choice?

Purchasing a 1.8 Fiat Doblò 2012 in 2025 may be worth it depending on your specific needs, the condition of the vehicle, and the asking price. Here are the main points to consider:

Strengths:

Internal space: The Doblò is known for being spacious, ideal for large families or for those who need a vehicle to transport light cargo.

Versatility: Doblò versions generally allow flexible seat configurations, being useful for both personal and commercial use.

Mechanical Durability: The 1.8 (E.torQ) engine is relatively robust, as long as it is well maintained. It is a known mechanic, with available parts and affordable maintenance costs.

Affordable price: Older models like the 2012 tend to be cheaper on the market, making them a good option for those on a limited budget.

Negative points:

Fuel consumption: The 1.8 engine tends to be a gas guzzler, especially in a vehicle the size and weight of the Doblò. This can impact costs in the long run.

Outdated Technology: The 2012 model will not have the most modern technological and safety features, such as stability controls, steering assistants and advanced connectivity.

Maintenance Cost: Although the engine is reliable, a 13-year-old car may require more frequent maintenance on systems such as suspension, brakes and electrical systems.

Devaluation: Vehicles of this age are already quite depreciated, but they can lose even more value quickly.

Comfort: The Doblò can be a little rustic in terms of finish and comfort level, especially compared to newer models.

What to evaluate before buying?

Maintenance History: Make sure the car has been well looked after, with regular oil changes, check-ups and maintenance.

General Condition: Inspect the suspension, bodywork, tires and electrical system.

Price: Research prices for similar models in your area to ensure you're paying a fair price.

Purpose: If you need a spacious vehicle for work or family, it may serve you well, but it is not ideal for those looking for fuel economy or high technology.

If you need a robust and spacious car and are willing to deal with higher fuel consumption, the Fiat Doblò 1.8 2012 may be a good option.

However, be sure to carefully assess the condition of your vehicle and weigh up maintenance and fuel costs over time.

For more urban or technological use, it might be better to consider more modern options.

Fiat is prestigious because it knows what a family needs. I have a Doblô 1.8 Essence, and this is my third, and I already plan on getting a fourth. I don't plan on changing it because it has everything I need. We've already traveled to several states, where it offers us the space we need to carry what we need and even more. It's unlikely that the engine will have a problem. What has happened is that the spark plugs have worn out, which is normal, and the battery, but that's counting the other cars I've had. It's a car 🚗 for all occasions. If you don't have one, you're missing out. If there's another one with something more, I'll go get it, because I know what Fiat wants for its users... for the driver and their family. My first car was a UNO. My story with FIAT started when I was 12 years old, when the Fiat 147 came out... I said that when I grew up I would have one; but in fact it was a revamped 147, which was the UNO. I fell in love. Since then, I haven't wanted anything else. Today, at 60 years old, I allow myself this luxury.

Good morning, EXCELLENT explanation of the car, I have a 14-year-old Doblo, for me it was the best choice I've ever made, it serves me on my trips and at work, I really loved it, regarding fuel consumption, I always try to drive with a full tank, where it doesn't force the fuel pump!!!! Just gratitude! 😍😍😍😍
