Reevo launches electric bicycle with futuristic design, range of 60 km and maximum speed of 25 km/h. The electric vehicle promises to be safe, technological and affordable. The company states that it already has the first units in Brazil and is carrying out tests and approvals. Sales/reservations will be direct via the website from 2023.
Reevo presents the WORLD'S first electric bicycle without central hub: Reevo's two-wheeled electric vehicle, although it has pedals, tires and battery like any other, stands out for the innovation in its tires. Reevo has developed the world's first e-bike without a central hub. Using patented technology, the wheels have a center constructed from a very light and resistant material. This design revolution promises to transform the electric bicycle market, combining efficiency, lightness and durability in a single innovative model.
Electric bicycle prevents theft and promises to be the safest on the market
The tire itself rotates on the hollow core, causing the vehicle to run. According to the company, precise impact tests were carried out, so that the technology is as safe as possible. In addition to being a matter of design, bringing an image of a futuristic electric vehicle, the empty space in the tires can be used to transport objects.
REEVO has developed a suitcase designed specifically for this area. Light signals, turn signals, LEDs and brake lights were installed on the wheels, which come on when the day becomes cloudy or when it gets dark, to make trips even safer. And speaking of safety, the electric bicycle also has technology that makes it much more unique.

Still, if one of the previous elements fails and someone takes the Reevo electric bike, a GPS tracking system allows you to locate the bike at any time using the My Reevo application.
Reevo electric bicycle has 60 km of autonomy
In terms of specifications, the reevo was developed with a focus on European standards, therefore, it has a 250W motor that allows, with electric assistance, the vehicle to reach up to 25 km/h. The battery, which can be removed, delivers a range of 60 km on a single charge.
For those who like to see their stats, the My Reevo app, in addition to showing the vehicle's location at all times, it becomes almost a co-pilot, providing information on the battery level, the speed at which the pilot moves and also the distance that has been traveled by the same.
The Reevo electric bike can be purchased on the Reevo website. Indiegogo, where it has a price starting at 2.627 euros with deliveries scheduled for December this year. In direct conversion, the vehicle would cost around of R$ 14 thousand (not considering import taxes or ICMS).
More affordable alternative for those who want to buy an electric bike
Seen as a major advance in the two-wheeled vehicle sector and also in urban mobility due to their practicality, some more advanced models can be very expensive. To enjoy the benefits of an electric bike without spending a lot, the Livall, an American company, created a conversion kit.
O product costs $ 299 which in direct conversion, the equivalent of R$ 1,6 thousand. The purpose of the equipment is to act as a gateway to the battery bicycle sector, transforming any model into a sustainable vehicle.
The equipment delivers an autonomy of about 30 km per charge, weighing only 3 KG and, being compact, it can be easily stored in purses or backpacks. The conversion kit, which transforms any bicycle into an electric one, is equipped with a rear light and a USB port that makes it possible to charge your cell phone.
