Division of vacancies for the federal police
Police area
The Federal Police requested 2.599 vacancies, divided between different areas. See how these opportunities are organized:
- Agent: 1.115 vacancies (higher level in any area and starting salary of R$14.710,10);
- Clerk: 364 vacancies (higher level in any area and starting salary of R$14.710,10);
- Papilloscopist: 13 vacancies (higher level in any area and starting salary of R$14.710,10);
- Expert: 57 vacancies (higher level in specific areas and starting salary of R$14.710,10);
- Delegate: 261 vacancies (higher level in Law and starting salary of R$27.831,70).

Administrative area
In the administrative area, the PF also has several vacancies:
- Medium Level: Administrative agent (626 vacancies);
- Higher Education: Administrator (26), archivist (9), social worker (13), librarian (1), accountant (9), economist (3), nurse (3), statistician (4), pharmacist (2), doctor (70), nutritionist (1), psychologist (6), educational affairs technician (13) and social communications technician (3).
Starting salaries in the administrative area vary: R$6.173,31 for administrative agents and R$7.296,69 for higher-level positions, except doctors, who receive R$9.547,40. These amounts include food assistance of R$1.000.
Vacancies requested for the federal highway police
Police area
The Federal Highway Police requested a total of 5.137 vacancies, divided as follows:
- Highway Police: 4.902 vacancies (completed higher education). The starting salary for this position will be R$12.253,84 from 2026.
Administrative area
- Administrative Agent: 235 vacancies (complete secondary level). The starting salary for this position will be R$6.173,31.
Priorities and expectations
O Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI) highlighted that although the requests include vacancies for police areas, the main focus is on administrative areas. The expectations are that the administrative notices will be authorized this month, as new federal notices will be announced by the MGI this semester.
New salaries for police careers
As remunerations for police careers PF e PRF have been readjusted by Law 14.875/2024, and this increase will be applied in three installments, in the years 2024, 2025 and 2026. From 2026 onwards, those approved will start with starting salaries of:
- PF: Federal criminal delegate and expert with R$27.831,70; agent, clerk and papilloscopist with R$14.710,10. The final values may reach R$41.350 for delegates and experts, and R$25.250 for agents, clerks and papilloscopists.
- PRF: They will enter with a starting salary of R$12.253,84, which can reach R$23 thousand at the end of their career.
