On social media, Luciano Hang showed the structure of the new Havan at the intersection of Avenida Goiás and Perimetral Norte in Goiânia as it approaches completion. The store will have an air-conditioned environment, a Statue of Liberty, a food court, free parking, over 350 thousand items, and promotional activities at the grand opening on the 31st.

Luciano Hang published new images on social media showing the progress of the Havan in Goiânia, Goiás, and stated that the construction is in its final stages before the inauguration scheduled for January 31 at 10 a.m.. The unit appears with the main structure already taking shape, with more defined aisles and internal areas advancing towards the configuration of a megastore.

The arrival of Havan in the capital of Goiás expands the network’s presence in the state and marks, according to the businessman, the company’s first opening in 2026. The new store will be the 188th unit, promising over 350 thousand items, along with promotional activities and traditional brand elements, such as the Statue of Liberty, air-conditioned environment and services designed for high traffic.

Construction Almost Finished and the “Face” of the Megastore Starting to Appear

Havan inaugurates megastore in Goiânia; Luciano Hang shows nearly finished construction with Statue of Liberty, colossal structure, and promise of impact on Goiás retail.

The images released show the Havan in Goiânia in an advanced phase, with the construction described as practically finished and the internal spaces already gaining the organization typical of large retail. The visual impression indicates that the store is moving from the structural phase to the finishing and setup of functional areas, when the building transforms from a mere construction site to an operational space.

In Hang’s communication, Havan appears as a large-scale project for the capital, with the notion of “megastore” linked to the size of the space and the intention to gather a wide volume of merchandise. The reference to over 350 thousand items reinforces the positioning of the store as one with a broad variety and the capability to cater to multiple consumer profiles in a single visit.

Among the elements already mentioned as being present in the unit, the Statue of Liberty is regarded as part of the set that identifies the brand. The presence of this structure indicates that the store follows the visual standard adopted by the network in other cities, used to mark the inauguration as an event and to standardize the experience.

The description of aisles “coming to life” connects to the advancement of the internal layout. In large-scale retail projects, this stage typically signifies that the main circulation pathways and area divisions are ready to receive equipment setup, organization of sectors, and preparation for opening to the public, which aligns with the announced date.

Food Court, Air Conditioning, and Free Parking in the Service Package

The Havan in Goiânia was presented with three operational items that directly impact the customer journey: food court, air conditioning, and free parking. The food court suggests longer stays at the location and greater comfort for families, while the air conditioning points to a standardized experience in a large space with continuous traffic.

Free parking is a critical logistical component for a megastore because it influences stopping time, turnover, and convenience, especially during openings with a high volume of visitors. In the businessman’s speech, this set appears as part of the model that the network replicates, and which now arrives at the specified address in the capital.

The new Havan is being installed at the intersection of Avenida Goiás and Perimetral Norte in Goiânia, the capital of Goiás. This point is cited as the store’s location, precisely defining where the structure is being finalized and where the grand opening will take place on the 31st at 10 a.m.

This information is relevant because, in projects of this size, the choice of location is often associated with the ability to handle large foot traffic and the urban impact on the surrounding area. Installing at an intersection of major roads also tends to enhance visibility and facilitate access from different regions of the city.

What Changes on the Network Map in Goiás With the Havan in Goiânia

With the opening in the capital, Goiás will have the fourth store of the network in operation. Prior to Goiânia, there were three units functioning in the state, located in Anápolis, Rio Verde, and Valparaíso de Goiás. The Goiânia unit will be the brand’s first location in the capital and is also presented as the first megastore of Havan in the city.

Beyond the symbolism of arriving at the main urban center of the state, the inauguration also fits within the company’s calendar for 2026. According to Hang, the opening of the Havan in Goiânia marks the beginning of the network’s inaugurations this year, which gives a “first” weight to the event on the 31st.

In the announcement, the company also confirmed expansion plans to other cities in southern Goiás, citing Caldas Novas and Itumbiara as intended destinations. The two locations appear as next steps, but without defined dates for opening.

This point reinforces that Havan‘s strategy in Goiás is not limited to the capital. The list suggests a continuity of the regional presence plan, with Goiânia as a landmark for being the first unit in the capital and for increasing the number of stores in Goiás territory.

The Havan in Goiânia enters the countdown with the inauguration scheduled for January 31 at 10 a.m., and the status of unit 188 of the network, located at the intersection of Avenida Goiás and Perimetral Norte in Goiás. With Statue of Liberty, food court, air-conditioned environment, free parking, and a promise of over 350 thousand items with promotions, the megastore advances as one of the most visible projects of the brand in the region and repositions the company’s map in the state.

Do you think that the arrival of Havan in Goiânia will truly change the commercial dynamics of the city or will it just be another large shopping point concentrating flow in the surroundings?
