What Is This New Petrobras Edit and Why Does It Draw So Much Attention?
The selection process was announced in the Public Notice No. 106/2025/A&R, dated December 8, 2025, which opens selection for students for Free Professional Qualification Courses offered by the Federal Institute of Paraná (IFPR) within the Petrobras Autonomy and Income Program.
This program is a partnership between Petrobras and Federal Institutes, with a clear focus: to create real opportunities for those in social vulnerability, unemployed, or with low income, prioritizing groups such as women, trans people, indigenous people, quilombolas, people with disabilities, blacks and browns, refugees, and residents in the area of Petrobras operations.

The workload varies depending on the course:
- Diverse Services Assistant: 174 hours
- Scaffolder: 268 hours
- Boilermaker: 512 hours
Classes take place according to the schedule defined in the notice, with a routine of Monday to Friday + Saturday, so it’s training with a serious rhythm and focus on the market.

The list of applicants comes out with a “drawing number,” and the drawing is transmitted on the official FAIFSUL YouTube channel, with recording available afterwards.

Requirements for Registration
To participate, the candidate must be 18 years old or older, register for free online, live in a municipality within the area of Petrobras operations (Araucária, Campo Largo or Curitiba), and have at least completed Basic Education I (1st to 5th year); additionally, at the time of registration, identification documents, proof of schooling, and income verification when competing in affirmative actions will be required, and since registration is remote, it is essential to have internet access and a device to fill out the form on the Autonomy and Income Portal.
