Petrobras and SENAI join forces and launch free technology courses that pay up to R$ 706.
This is not distance learning; the courses are in-person, ensuring direct contact with teachers and the necessary hands-on experience for true learning.
The workload varies depending on the choice, ranging from 174 hours to 252 hours. This means complete immersion, with theoretical classes and practical activities that prepare students for the real challenges of the industry.
According to the public notice, the methodology focuses on access, retention, and student success, guaranteeing all necessary support during the learning journey.

Positions and Where to Study
In total, 70 positions are being offered for immediate entry in the first semester of 2026. Classes will take place in person at the São José dos Campos Campus, strategically located on the Presidente Dutra Highway, km 145, in Jardim Diamante (access through gate P4 of the Henrique Lage Refinery – Revap).
The distribution of positions is as follows:
- Diverse Services Assistant: 30 positions.
- Industrial Thermal Insulator: 20 positions.
- Industrial Painter: 20 positions.
Scholarship: A Financial Support of up to R$ 858.00 Monthly
One of the great advantages of this program is the financial support. Selected students will receive a monthly scholarship of R$ 660.00 throughout the course.
And there’s more: the program is attentive to mothers. Women with children up to 11 years and 11 months receive a higher amount of R$ 858.00 monthly.
To ensure this benefit, it is necessary to maintain a minimum attendance of 75% in classes. It’s an essential incentive for you to focus on your studies without worrying too much about bills.
Selection and Quotas
The selection process is democratic and transparent, conducted through a Public Electronic Lottery. This means that all registered individuals who meet the requirements have equal chances.
The program prioritizes social inclusion. The positions are primarily intended for groups in vulnerable situations, such as low-income individuals, the unemployed, Black, mixed-race, Indigenous people, quilombolas, people with disabilities, women, transgender individuals, and refugees.

Who Can Participate?
To apply, you don’t need to face complicated bureaucracy. The candidate must be 18 years or older and reside in São José dos Campos. The required education varies: for the Assistant course, you only need to have completed Elementary School I (1st to 5th grade).
For Industrial Painter, completing Elementary School II (up to 9th grade) is necessary. Finally, anyone wishing to study Thermal Insulator must have completed High School.
