Jetour T2 Launches in Brazil as an Adventurous Hybrid SUV with High Equipment Levels, Good Consumption, and Competitive Price.
The Jetour T2, new hybrid SUV from the Chinese brand linked to the Chery Group, officially arrives in Brazil in March, with pre-sales starting in February, pricing in Brazil starting at R$ 289,900, two well-equipped versions, and a proposal aimed at urban and light off-road use.
The launch takes place at Jetour dealerships across the country and is part of the manufacturer’s first product cycle in the national market, which bets on a robust design, electrification, and an advanced technological package to attract consumers looking for an adventurous SUV with a modern profile.
According to Jetour, the model was developed for those who value striking visuals, comfort, and energy efficiency.

Therefore, the T2 combines a plug-in hybrid system, relevant electric range, and an extensive list of versions and equipment, in addition to a seven-year warranty for the vehicle and eight years for the hybrid system.
Jetour T2: Positioning and Strategy in Brazil
The Jetour T2 is the third model presented by the brand in the country, after the S06 and T1.
It concludes the first phase of launches by the manufacturer, which has already confirmed the arrival of three more vehicles in the second half of the year.
Although it shares the same visual “recipe” as the T1, the T2 positions itself above in size, power, and sophistication.
For now, the hybrid SUV will only be sold with front-wheel drive, a strategic choice to maintain competitive pricing and expand the target audience.
The proposal is clear: to cater to both urban drivers and consumers who tackle dirt roads, gravel, and weekend trips.
Robust Design and Adventurous SUV Dimensions
Visually, the Jetour T2 catches attention with its square and muscular style, clearly inspired by off-road segment icons.
The model measures 4.78 meters in length, 2 meters in width, 1.88 meters in height, and has a wheelbase of 2.80 meters, ensuring good interior space and a striking presence on the streets.
The short bumpers, straight lines, and exposed metallic elements reinforce the appeal of an adventurous SUV, while the exterior finish conveys a sense of robustness and modernity.
Hybrid Powertrain, Performance, and Consumption
In the mechanical setup, the Jetour T2 stands out from its siblings. It uses a 1.5 turbo gasoline engine, combined with two electric motors, powered by a 26.7 kWh battery.
Together, they deliver 320 hp of combined power and 62.2 kgfm of torque, impressive numbers for the segment.
The hybrid transmission with three gears has been calibrated to keep the engines always in the most efficient ranges.
Thus, the hybrid SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds, balancing performance and economy.
According to the Brazilian Vehicle Labeling Program (PBEV), consumption is 27.6 km/l in the city and 23.4 km/l on the highway, while the electric range reaches 75 km, ideal for daily urban commutes.
Fast Charging and Daily Use
The charging system of the Jetour T2 uses the CCS2 standard, compatible with public stations. In direct current (DC), charging from 20% to 80% takes about 42 minutes.
On AC chargers, the time drops to 2 hours and 24 minutes, while at residential outlets a full charge can take up to 7 hours and 54 minutes.
Jetour T2: Versions and Standard Equipment
The highlight of the model is its list of versions and equipment, which starts robustly from the entry-level configuration.
Jetour T2 Advance – R$ 289,900
Thus, the Advance version features a panoramic sunroof, 19” wheels, a full suite of driving assistance (ADAS), 15.6” multimedia, a digital dashboard, dual-zone air conditioning, a 50W induction charger, ventilated electric seats, and 360° cameras.
Jetour T2 Premium – R$ 299,900
In addition to all items from the Advance, the Premium adds 20” wheels, a Sony sound system with 12 speakers, configurable ambient lighting, electric lumbar adjustments, differentiated internal finishing, and front parking sensors.
Colors, Pre-Sales, and National Production Plans
The price in Brazil may vary according to the chosen color.
Thus, the matte options Silver Veneer and Green Veneer cost an additional R$ 3,500.
To reserve the adventurous SUV during pre-sales, the customer must pay a deposit of R$ 5,000, deducted from the final amount.
Finally, Jetour confirmed that it is studying production in Brazil, initially under a KD regime, while evaluating industrial partners.
The decision is still under review but reinforces the brand’s commitment to the national market.
