Forbes List Reveals Who Leads Among Brazilian Billionaires, Shows Wealth Growth, New Names in Ranking and Advances in Artificial Intelligence
In August, Forbes magazine released the updated ranking of Brazilian Billionaires of 2025, revealing wealth growth among major entrepreneurs. Eduardo Saverin tops the list with R$ 227 billion, followed by Vicky Safra. The list also includes new names and significant changes in the economic landscape.
Leadership Among Brazilian Billionaires
The list of Brazilian billionaires placed Eduardo Saverin at the top. Co-founder of Facebook, he has an estimated fortune of R$ 227 billion, according to the survey published by Forbes in August.
Saverin currently lives in Singapore. His wealth saw significant growth after the appreciation of Meta Platforms’ shares, a movement associated with recent advancements in the field of artificial intelligence.

The appreciation of technology companies had a direct impact on the ranking of Brazilian billionaires. Meta Platforms, controlled by Mark Zuckerberg, announced new developments involving artificial intelligence, a factor that contributed to the rise in shares.
This movement did not only benefit Saverin. Other entrepreneurs also recorded significant wealth growth during the analyzed period.
Wealth Advancement of Magnates
Among the names mentioned in Forbes’ survey is André Esteves, linked to BTG Pactual. The banker saw his fortune increase by 56%, reaching R$ 51 billion.
Another mentioned entrepreneur is Luciano Hang, owner of the Havan store chain. By the time of the list’s publication, he had an estimated wealth of R$ 11.4 billion, occupying the 31st position in the ranking.
Presence of Traditional Names
Even with the entry of new names, traditional entrepreneurs remain present among the Brazilian billionaires. Jorge Paulo Lemann continues to be one of the most influential figures in the survey.
Associated with AB Inbev and 3G Capital, Lemann maintained an estimated fortune of R$ 88 billion, demonstrating resilience in the face of market fluctuations.
Entry of New Billionaires
The ranking also recorded structural changes. In total, 31 new billionaires have joined the list released by Forbes.
According to the survey, 56.3% of Brazilian billionaires increased their wealth in 2025. On the other hand, 20.6% of the interviewees faced losses during the same period, highlighting fluctuations in the economic scenario and in the formation of fortunes in the country.
