New Electric SUV from VOLVO Has Just Been Launched with a Range of Up to 600 km. Meet the EX90 SUV, Which Promises to Revolutionize the Automotive Market with Unique Design and Great Performance.

The Volvo EX90 is the latest electric SUV from the Swedish automaker that marks a new chapter in the journey toward an electric future. This new SUV from Volvo is not just an update to the XC90, but a complete transformation designed to embrace sustainable mobility without losing the DNA that has captured families around the world.

New Unique Design of the Volvo EX90 Impresses Buyers

The first contact with the EX90 is visual, and it certainly knows how to impress. Its generous dimensions, measuring 5.03 meters in length, 1.96 meters in width, and 1.74 meters in height, give it a striking presence. However, what truly attracts attention is how the brand has managed to balance the imposing nature of an electric SUV with clean and elegant lines, resulting in a timeless style.

The front of the new Volvo SUV is dominated by the Thor’s Hammer headlights, the latest styling signature from Volvo, now with LED animation that seems to bring the model to life. This animation is not only digital but also physical as it separates to allow the high beam to emerge from behind the assembly.

The front grille of the Volvo EX90 is completely closed, a striking style that “reminds” that this is a 100% electric vehicle, eliminating the need for large air intakes found in combustion engine models.

At the rear, the taillights of the electric SUV connect to the trunk lid, but they also have the traditional integrated lights that rise up the pillar. This enhances the impression of an even wider SUV, especially on versions with 22-inch wheels.

Volvo EX90 Delivers 517 Horsepower

The Twin Motor Performance version delivers 517 hp and 92.8 kgfm of torque, resulting in a smooth and powerful driving experience. Even in urban settings, the new Volvo SUV behaves with agility. The immediate torque provided by the two electric motors, one on each axle, makes maneuvers and overtaking easy and effortless.

The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds, according to Volvo’s figures, is worthy of sports cars, and the all-wheel drive with torque vectoring offers impressive stability in curves.

With a 111 kWh battery, the Volvo EX90 offers a range of up to 600 km in WLTP certification. However, the Inmetro certification is expected to reduce the official range to around 470 km, which is still a great figure for an electric SUV of this size.

Regarding charging, the new Volvo SUV is compatible with fast chargers of up to 250 kW, allowing the battery to be charged from 10% to 80% in approximately 30 minutes.

Interior of the New Electric SUV is Minimalist and Full of Technology

If the exterior is already impressive, the interior of the Volvo EX90 catches attention for its sophistication and minimalism. The company spared no expense and added a digital instrument panel that has its function “doubled” with the head-up display. While in the smaller EX30 this is the biggest criticism, in the EX90 the story is completely different.

Upon opening the door, one can see a clean and spacious environment. The materials used are of high quality, combining soft textures and neutral tones, typical of Scandinavian design. One of the most striking features of the new Volvo SUV is the almost complete absence of buttons. Volvo has opted to minimize the number of physical controls, leaving the dashboard clean and organized.
