The Federal Institute of Northern Minas Gerais (IFNMG) Pirapora Campus has announced the opening of the selection process for free online courses (EAD), according to the Notice No. 107/2024. The program offers ongoing education and professional training in subsequent and concurrent courses to high school education. There are 175 vacancies distributed among different centers, with the start of the academic period planned for the first semester of 2025.
The technical courses aim to prepare students in technical areas, promoting integration into the job market. The classes are conducted online (EAD), with weekly in-person meetings, and last for two years. Practical activities may be held on Saturdays, depending on the course.

Selection Process and Vacancy Reservations
The selection will be based on an analysis of Grades in Portuguese Language and Mathematics from high school. There are also reserved vacancies for affirmative actions, such as quotas for low-income students, self-declared black, brown, indigenous, quilombola individuals, and people with disabilities.
Enrollment Requirements
Candidates for the free courses must have completed high school or be attending the second or third year at another institution. Internet access and a valid email are required to register.
Selection Process Schedule
- Registration: November 15 to December 1, 2024.
- Preliminary List of Registrants Announcement: December 3, 2024.
- Final Result: December 13, 2024.
- Enrollment: Starting December 16, 2024.
