What courses are available?
UFJF offers vacancies for undergraduate courses in areas such as Computing, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Physical Education and Pedagogy.
These degrees will be taught in the form of distance learning (EaD), with support from in-person centers linked to the Open University of Brazil (UAB).
The in-person undergraduate centers are spread across several cities in Minas Gerais, such as Andrelândia, Barão de Cocais, Lavras, Sete Lagoas, among others.
This allows students to follow classes and activities remotely, but have in-person support close to home.
Who can apply?
The selection process has two registration modalities:
- General public: In this category, candidates are evaluated based on their academic performance in Portuguese and Mathematics, according to their high school transcript. 80% of vacancies are reserved for this modality.
- Public school teachers: Teachers who already work in the public school system, but do not have a degree or work in areas other than their training, are entitled to 20% of the vacancies. To participate, it is necessary to prove the link with the public school system and be registered on the Freire Platform. In this case, the tiebreaker criteria will be length of service and age..
How do registrations work?
Registration is now open and will run until October 30, 2024. The entire process is carried out online, through the website of the General Coordination of Selection Processes (Copese) of UFJF.
During registration, the candidate must fill out a form and generate the Union Collection Guide (GRU), in the amount of R$150,00, which must be paid by the end of the deadline.
Who wants to apply for registration fee exemption You can do it between October 7th and 11th.
The results of exemption requests will be announced on October 21st, and candidates must be careful not to miss this deadline.
When will the results come out?
The final result of the selection process will be announced on November 26, 2024, on the Copese website.
Successful candidates will need to follow all enrollment information on the website of the Coordination of Academic Affairs and Records (Cdara), where the necessary documents and the deadline for enrollment will be published.
Classes are scheduled to begin in the first half of 2025.
Why is this an unmissable opportunity?
Studying at a renowned institution like UFJF and, at the same time, having the flexibility of distance learning is an advantage that few can pass up.
Furthermore, distance learning allows students to balance their studies with other responsibilities, such as work and family, without compromising the quality of their education..
For teachers, this is also an excellent opportunity to update or complete their training, meeting the demands of their field of activity and ensuring greater professional security in the future.
Don't miss the chance to take a leap in your career without having to invest financially in college.
