10,000 mAh Battery, 185 Hz OLED Display, and Active Cooling Position the Honor Win as the Brand’s Bet for Long Gaming Sessions, Combining Focus on Performance, High Autonomy, and Unusual Specifications in the Premium Segment in 2025.

Honor unveiled the Honor Win line on December 26, 2025, consisting of the Honor Win and Honor Win RT models, with a focus on performance and autonomy aimed at gamers.

The devices combine a 10,000 mAh battery, a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 185 Hz, and an active cooling system with a fan, according to information released in the official announcement.

According to the manufacturer, the aim is to cater to users who engage in extended gaming sessions on smartphones, bringing together specifications that prioritize thermal stability and usage time away from the outlet.

Differences Between Honor Win and Honor Win RT

As per the technical specifications presented at the time, the Honor Win is the most advanced model in the lineup and uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

The Honor Win RT, on the other hand, adopts the Snapdragon 8 Elite, maintaining similar features in display, battery, and thermal system, with differences mainly focused on the camera setup.

185 Hz AMOLED Display and Display Specifications

The display emerges as one of the key elements of the line’s gamer positioning.

According to the information released, the models feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel, 2800 × 1272 pixels resolution, and a refresh rate of up to 185 Hz.

The same material states a maximum brightness of up to 6,000 nits, a specification mentioned to indicate greater visibility in bright environments, in addition to reinforcing the use of the panel in different lighting conditions.

The refresh rate of 185 Hz stands out for exceeding more common values in premium smartphones, such as 120 Hz or 144 Hz.

In the context presented by Honor, this number is associated with the intention to offer greater visual fluidity and faster response in games compatible with high frame rates.

10,000 mAh Battery and Silicon-Carbon Technology

Another central point of the launch is the 10,000 mAh battery, a capacity above the average observed in high-performance smartphones.

The technical coverage of the announcement indicates that this value is made possible by the use of silicon-carbon technology, a solution adopted to increase energy density without a proportional increase in the physical dimensions of the device.

According to the released information, the Honor Win line supports up to 100 W wired charging, up to 80 W wireless charging, and 27 W reverse charging.

These specifications are presented as part of the strategy to reduce the time needed for recharging, even with a large-capacity battery.

Active Cooling System with Internal Fan

To manage the heat generated during intense use, Honor describes the thermal system of the devices as a set of active cooling with a fan, vapor chamber, and graphite layers.

According to the manufacturer, this combination aims to help control temperature during extended sessions, a scenario where powerful smartphones typically experience reduced performance.

The presence of an internal fan is a feature more common in dedicated gaming phones and serves as a technical differentiator for the Win line compared to traditional models.

Memory, Storage, and Multitasking

In terms of memory and storage, the technical specifications list versions with 12 GB or 16 GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, in addition to options for 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage.

These specifications are cited as support for faster app loading, simultaneous execution of heavy tasks, and maintaining performance in multitasking.

Camera Set-Up of Honor Win

In the camera set-up, the Honor Win is described with three rear sensors, with the main being 50 megapixels, accompanied by a 12-megapixel ultrawide and a 50-megapixel telephoto with 3x optical zoom.

The sheet also mentions optical stabilization in specific sensors of the set.

The Honor Win RT, in turn, adopts a simpler configuration, with a 50-megapixel main camera and a 12-megapixel ultrawide, without the telephoto lens.

Both models feature a 50-megapixel front camera, as disclosed in the announcement.

Connectivity, Security, and Resistance

In addition to performance, the Honor Win line includes features listed in the official specifications, such as 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and a stereo sound system.

The technical material also mentions an ultrasonic fingerprint reader under the display and the presence of the HONOR C1 Plus chip, accompanied by a radio frequency amplifier aimed at wireless communication.

In terms of resistance, the devices are associated with IP68, IP69, and IP69K certifications, as indicated in the launch coverage.

These ratings are used to indicate protection against dust and water in various testing conditions, respecting the limits established by technical standards.

Software, Dimensions, and Availability

In terms of software, the Honor Win line was presented with MagicOS 10 based on Android 16, as stated in the official announcement.

The disclosed dimensions indicate that the Honor Win measures 163.1 × 76.6 × 8.3 mm and weighs 229 grams, while the Win RT maintains the same size, weighing 225 grams.

The weight difference is attributed to internal variations, such as chipset and camera set-up.

Regarding availability, Honor reported that the Win line was initially launched in the Chinese market, without confirmation of arrival in other countries at the time of the announcement.

The prices disclosed in yuan position the Honor Win above the Win RT, reflecting the hardware differences between the models.

With this launch, Honor starts competing in the smartphone gaming segment, highlighting three main axes presented in the official material: high-capacity battery, display with high refresh rate, and active cooling system.

In a market where manufacturers have been expanding specifications to cater to users who play on mobile for longer periods, which of these factors tends to weigh more in your day-to-day use: autonomy, screen fluidity, or thermal control during extended sessions?
