Darkened Digital Panel, App Connectivity, LED Lighting, and 12V Socket on the Handlebar Mark the Update of the Yamaha Fazer FZ25 Connected 2026, which Retains the Engine, Chassis, and Urban Proposal Already Known in the 250cc Segment.

Yamaha announced the arrival of the Fazer FZ25 Connected to the 2026 line, maintaining the mechanical base and chassis already adopted in the previous generation.

The updates are focused on the visual and equipment, highlighting new color options and graphics, in addition to items aimed at connectivity and daily use.

Among the new features, the model now comes with a fully digital “Blackout” style panel, full LED lighting throughout the set, and a 12V socket positioned on the handlebar.

The motorcycle remains equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, allowing integration with the Yamaha Motorcycle Connect app, Y-Connect, a feature already present in the previous version.

Even without changes to the powertrain, the FZ25 Connected continues to be positioned as a 250cc street bike aimed at urban use and medium-distance travel, maintaining characteristics already known to the audience that follows the model.

Blackout Digital Panel Reinforces Visual Identity of the FZ25 Connected 2026

The 100% digital panel in “Blackout” style is one of the main visual changes of the Fazer FZ25 Connected 2026.

With a dark background, the set includes a speedometer, tachometer, gear indicator, fuel level, and other on-board information in a presentation different from the previous generation.

According to the manufacturer, the new layout aims to facilitate the visualization of data in different lighting conditions.

The tachometer, displayed graphically, gains greater prominence on the display, without changing the information available to the rider.

The adoption of this panel follows a trend already observed in other models of the brand and segment, which have been replacing analog or mixed displays with fully digital screens.

Y-Connect Connectivity Allows Monitoring of Motorcycle Consumption and Usage

Bluetooth connectivity remains one of the differentiating factors of the Connected version.

Through the Y-Connect app, the rider can access information such as average consumption, travel history, and maintenance schedule, as well as receive notifications related to the operation of the motorcycle.

The app also registers the last location associated with the pairing between the motorcycle and smartphone and provides the ECO ranking, which compares riding efficiency data among registered users on the platform.

These features are part of the connectivity package already offered by Yamaha and do not alter the handling or performance of the model.

The information displayed on the app depends on the continuous use of the system and correct pairing with the phone, according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.

Full LED Lighting Remains Standard in the 2026 Line

The Fazer FZ25 Connected 2026 retains the full LED lighting set, including headlight, taillight, daytime running light (DRL), and turn signals.

The headlight uses a LED projector with independent DRLs, a configuration that has already been adopted in the model.

According to Yamaha, the system was developed to meet visibility requirements in urban and highway use, in addition to contributing to the motorcycle’s visual identity.

There is no mention of technical changes in the functioning of the set compared to the previous version.

Another feature present in the 2026 line is the 12V socket installed on the handlebar.

This feature allows powering compatible accessories and using adapters for recharging electronic devices, based on the user’s needs.

The manufacturer does not detail load limitations or specific recommended accessories, indicating only the presence of the socket as a convenience item aimed at daily use.

Chassis Maintains Steel Frame and Known Suspensions

In terms of chassis, the Fazer FZ25 Connected 2026 continues to be equipped with a Diamond steel frame.

The rear suspension is of the Monocross type, with seven levels of adjustment and a 120mm travel, while the front uses a telescopic fork with a 130mm travel.

The braking system remains with ABS on both wheels.

The front disc measures 282mm, and the rear disc, 220mm, a configuration that remains unchanged for this update.

Yamaha did not report changes in the motorcycle’s dynamic behavior, emphasizing that the 2026 line’s goal is to maintain the structural set already used.

250cc Engine Remains Unchanged in the 2026 Line

YouTube Video

The engine of the Fazer FZ25 Connected 2026 continues to be the single-cylinder 250cc, paired with a five-speed transmission.

The declared power is 21.3 hp at 8,000 rpm, with torque of 2.1 kgf.m at 6,000 rpm.

These numbers remain the same as the last update of the model.

Yamaha emphasizes that the set was developed with a focus on durability and efficiency, characteristics associated with urban use and short to medium-distance travel.

There is no indication of changes in emissions, calibration, or engine architecture for the 2026 line.

Production in Manaus, New Colors, and Suggested Price

Produced in the Industrial Hub of Manaus, Amazonas, the Fazer FZ25 Connected 2026 arrives at dealerships in Solid Grey and Navy Blue, in addition to Cristal White with new graphics and Magma Red.

The suggested public price is R$ 25,090.

Yamaha itself emphasizes that final prices may vary based on freight, local taxes, and the commercial policies of each dealership.

With the update focused on equipment, visual, and connectivity, the FZ25 Connected maintains its proposal within the street segment, but to what extent do the app’s features and convenience items really influence the purchasing decision of Brazilian motorcyclists?

21,3 CV só? Lembrando que de roda isso deve ser perto de 17CV. Fraca demais.
