Santa Bárbara d’Oeste City Hall Opens 30-Hour Internship With Stipend Up to R$ 1,518 and Transport Assistance.

The Santa Bárbara d’Oeste City Hall is conducting a selection process to create a registry of interns at the high school, technical, and higher education levels, with a weekly workload of 30 hours and payment that can reach up to R$ 1,518.00, in addition to daily transport assistance.

The goal of the City Hall is to credential young people to fill positions that may arise in the municipal administration, and the registration deadline ends on November 15. Those who want to secure an opportunity need to register on the CIEE website within the period.

Who Can Apply to the City Hall

According to the announcement from the Santa Bárbara d’Oeste City Hall, students from regular high school and also from technical courses such as administration, accounting, graphic design, construction, information technology (general), internet information technology, logistics, human resources, and legal services can participate.

University students from various fields can also compete, including physical education, civil engineering, financial management, language studies, social work, visual arts, biological sciences, environmental engineering, pharmacy, history, journalism, veterinary medicine, museology, nutrition, pedagogy, management processes, administration, architecture and urban planning, biomedicine, accounting, economics, marketing, advertising and propaganda, radio and TV, law, logistics, and information technology.

The City Hall also requires that the candidate be a natural-born or naturalized Brazilian, or a foreigner with permanent visa, be up to date with electoral and military obligations, be at least 16 years old for high school and technical or 18 years old for higher education, and have a minimum availability of three months for the internship.
Another important point in the City Hall’s announcement is the limit of up to 21 months of previous internships in the municipality itself.

Those who have interned more than this at the Santa Bárbara d’Oeste City Hall cannot participate, except for people with disabilities.

The announcement also allows candidates living in Santa Bárbara d’Oeste or nearby cities, such as Americana, Nova Odessa, Sumaré, Piracicaba, Limeira, Campinas, or Hortolândia.

How Much the City Hall Pays for the Internship

The City Hall reported that the remuneration will be one minimum wage per month for higher education and three-quarters of the minimum wage for high school and technical levels, always with daily transport assistance of R$ 11.80 per day of activity.

Considering the workload of 30 hours per week, the amount can reach the announced ceiling of up to R$ 1,518.00, according to the summary released for the 2025 selection process.

This format makes the City Hall internship attractive for those seeking experience in public administration without giving up a monthly stipend and daily transportation.

How the City Hall Exam Will Be

The selection process of the Santa Bárbara d’Oeste City Hall will have an objective test with ten multiple-choice questions, each with four alternatives and only one correct answer.

The content will be based on Portuguese language and general knowledge, which facilitates the preparation of candidates who are in school or university.

In case of a tie in ranking, the City Hall’s announcement determines the following tiebreaker order: age, highest score in Portuguese, highest score in general knowledge, and oldest registration.

How to Apply to the City Hall

Those who wish to participate need to access the CIEE (Center for Integration of Company and School) website and register at the address indicated in the announcement. The City Hall reported that the registration deadline remains open until November 15, so it is a process with a specific end date.

REGISTER HERE

The CIEE is the entity responsible for operationalizing the internship and is nationally recognized for integrating students into the labor market, which reinforces the credibility of the Santa Bárbara d’Oeste City Hall process.

Interning at the City Hall is a way to enter public service through the door of experience, gain real contact with administrative routines, enhance your resume, and still receive a stipend and transportation.

For those living in the Santa Bárbara d’Oeste region, the location is favorable and the available areas are diverse, catering to both high school students and those already in college.

Furthermore, as it is a registry for positions that may arise, the City Hall process keeps the talent bank updated and facilitates future convocations.
