The Orderly position at Rede D’Or involves a set of essential activities for the hospital’s functioning, ensuring speed, safety, and support to clinical, laboratory, and transfusion areas.

Among the activities are:

• Transport dirty materials to the washing sector
• Transport blood bags for transfusion
• Deliver laboratory samples for analysis
• Organize materials received from the warehouse
• Prepare blood collection kits
• Sanitize benches, tubes, and reservoirs
• Conduct documents, donor letters, and materials between sectors
• Wash blood transport cases
• Record temperatures of environments and refrigerators
• Forward blood components and materials to the CME
