Yamaha Fazer 250cc: This Used Motorcycle Remains Among The Most Sought After For Economy, Durability And Balanced Performance.

The Yamaha Fazer 250cc continues to be one of the most seen motorcycles in used bike ads in Brazil, maintaining commercial viability even after various cycles of releases in the sector.

The model has solidified its position as a frequent choice for those looking to upgrade without facing high prices.

While other motorcycles lose value quickly, the Fazer remains appreciated. This explains why it is still common to find reduced stock in specialized stores, especially in well-maintained units.

What supports this presence is not just brand nostalgia, but a combination of technical and economic factors that remain appealing.

Yamaha Fazer 250cc 2018: A Motorcycle Thought Out For Everyday Life

The Yamaha Fazer 250cc used is not aimed at surprising with sporty acceleration, but rather providing control, comfort, and predictable behavior while riding.

The model delivers a balance between power and smoothness, pleasing both beginners and more experienced riders.

The suspension tuning favors those tackling uneven streets in Brazilian cities.

Meanwhile, the ABS braking system stands out as an important differentiator in the category, enhancing safety without additional cost.

The riding position also appeals to those who spend many hours on the motorcycle, especially in professional activities.

The Mechanical Set Prioritizes Efficiency Above All

The heart of the Yamaha Fazer 250cc is a single-cylinder engine that delivers 21.3 HP of maximum power, while the torque of 2.1 kgfm favors smooth takeoffs and urban control.

The cooling system with an oil radiator prevents overheating even on prolonged journeys.

The five-speed transmission allows for linear responses, without jolts.

The proposal is simple: less excitement, more practicality — and that is exactly what many buyers seek.

The range has become an important ally in the owner’s monthly expenses. The combination of a 14-liter tank and controlled consumption generates a range close to 300 km per fill-up.

This performance positions the Fazer among the most economical within medium-sized motorcycles, which directly impacts those who use the vehicle continuously.

Within the family budget, fuel savings have become a decisive argument.

How Much Does The Yamaha Fazer 250cc 2018 Cost?

The used Yamaha Fazer 250cc currently has an average price of around R$ 18,245 at specialized sales points.

The FIPE Table places preserved units around R$ 17,082, reinforcing the coherence of the practiced value.

This scenario makes the model attractive for those seeking value for money without compromising mechanical reliability.

Not surprisingly, many buyers see it as an alternative to a car for daily use.

Ideal Mileage Became An Informal Market Rule

Another recurring behavior among interested buyers is the search for motorcycles with moderate use.

The preference falls on examples with less than 30,000 kilometers driven, considered more valued and with a lower risk of structural wear.

Before purchasing, it is common to demand a history of revisions, check registration with Detran, evaluate alignment, observe noises, and check the functioning of the electrical system.

A well-maintained motorcycle tends to sell quickly.

Simple Maintenance Supports Yamaha Fazer 250cc Loyalty

Revisions occur every 3,600 km or six months. A basic inspection costs around R$ 200 and includes routine item replacement.

The annual expense for normal use is around R$ 800, according to users. Brake pads, for example, can be found for approximately R$ 150 per pair.

Additionally, Yamaha has more than 500 authorized points in Brazil, making life easier for the owner.

The Fazer hit the market in 2005 and gained a flex version in 2013. In 2018, it received important updates to the chassis, inspired by the MT line.

During its best years, the model surpassed 32,000 units sold in a single year.

About 70% of motorcycles continue circulating in the used market even after seven years.

Few models achieve this level of permanence.

With a weight of 153 kg in running order and consumption close to 28 km per liter, the Fazer encompasses attributes that remain current.

This is not a motorcycle that promises to be sporty — but it delivers confidence. And, for most buyers, that is worth more than maximum speed.

Super recomendo.
