Fazer 250, Lander 250 and MT-03 Dominate 2025 with Power, 400 km Range and Low Consumption, Becoming the Best Yamaha Motorcycles in Cost-Benefit.

The Brazilian used motorcycle market is experiencing, in 2025, a silent transformation: with rising prices of modern scooters, the increasing complexity of some premium models and the Brazilian need for real economy, a trio from Yamaha has resurged with absolute strength as a cost-benefit reference. These are motorcycles that deliver far more than they promise, combining power of up to 32 hp, range exceeding 400 km, legendary durability engines and a level of comfort that surprises for their categories.

Fazer 250, Lander 250, and MT-03 form a set that reaches three different profiles of motorcyclists — urban, mixed and sporty — but always with the same DNA: reliability, low consumption, quick responses and simple maintenance. Starting at R$ 22,000, they represent exactly the kind of smart acquisition that the used market privileges today: motorcycles that age well, don’t break down, retain value and deliver real performance in traffic and on the road.

These three Yamahas have become, in 2025, almost obvious choices for those who want an efficient motorcycle without giving up strength and comfort. They are the true “dominators of cost-benefit.”

Fazer 250: The Urban Motorcycle with a Traveler’s Soul

The Yamaha Fazer 250 is likely one of the most balanced motorcycles ever produced in Brazil. Its 249 cc engine delivers 21.5 hp and 2.1 kgfm of torque — a set that favors quick responses, smoothness, and economy. It is neither a noisy engine, nor a rough one; it is an extremely smooth engine, designed to last hundreds of thousands of kilometers.

The great highlight, however, is consumption: real averages of 32 to 38 km/l, depending on riding style. With a 14-liter tank, the Fazer easily exceeds 400 km of range, something that few motorcycles in the 250 cc range can achieve.

The handling is another strong point. The Fazer 250 has one of the best suspension setups among national motorcycles, absorbing irregularities efficiently without losing firmness. It is comfortable enough for urban daily use, but also stable enough for medium-distance trips. The wide seat, relaxed position and well-designed ergonomics make the Fazer a motorcycle that “fits” well with the rider’s body.

And when it comes to maintenance, it is impossible to ignore the extremely low cost: affordable maintenance, abundant parts, and impeccable durability of the BlueFlex engine. No wonder it is one of the most sought-after motorcycles among riders who travel a lot and do not want headaches.

Lander 250: The Modern Trail That Dominates Difficult Terrains with Scooter Economics

The Yamaha Lander 250 is essentially the perfect motorcycle for real Brazil. Potholes, cobblestones, bad streets, dirt roads — none of these situations intimidate Yamaha’s trail. The Lander shares the same engine as the Fazer, but with adjustments aimed at delivering stronger outputs at lower revs, which makes climbs, rough sections and short trips on rural roads easier.

Despite its more adventurous proposal, the consumption is impressive: 30 to 35 km/l, an excellent figure considering the higher cycle, long-travel suspension, and mixed-use tire. The range above 400 km is maintained, thanks to the larger tank — 13.6 liters — and the balance between torque and efficiency.

The long-travel suspension, with a 220 mm front, easily absorbs potholes, ditches, and bumps. This places the Lander in a comfort level that even surpasses high-displacement motorcycles. The elevated riding position increases safety, especially for those who ride in urban areas with heavy traffic.

In the semi-new market, the Lander has one of the lowest depreciation rates in Brazil. Its audience is loyal, and its reputation for durability practically prevents sharp drops in price. It’s literally a motorcycle made for those who need to face all kinds of paths — and don’t want to spend much to do it.

MT-03: The Sport Naked That Offers Performance of a Larger Motorcycle with Affordable Maintenance Costs

If the Fazer is urban and the Lander is adventurous, the MT-03 is the sporty one in the trio — a naked motorcycle that has redefined cost-benefit in entry-level motorcycles with performance vocation. Fitted with a 321 cc engine, with 42 hp and 3.0 kgfm of torque, the MT-03 is the only one in the group capable of comfortably exceeding 170 km/h.

But the big surprise is in consumption: despite its sporty nature, the MT-03 registers real averages of 25 to 30 km/l, something that many less powerful motorcycles cannot achieve. With a 14-liter tank, the real range can reach 350 km, which is remarkable for a performance motorcycle.

The handling of the MT-03 is a spectacle in itself. Light, agile, with a rigid chassis and firm suspension, it conveys precision and safety even at high speeds. The ergonomics are sporty but not aggressive — making the motorcycle comfortable for daily use.

The maintenance is surprisingly not prohibitive. Yamaha got it right with the package, creating a simple and durable entry-level sportbike, with widely available parts and a reliable mechanical history.

For those seeking excitement without sacrificing economy and durability, the MT-03 has become one of the best choices of 2025.

Why This Yamaha Trio Dominated the Used Market in 2025

There are three elements that explain this dominance:

  • Legendary Mechanical Reliability: Yamaha’s 250 engine is known as one of the most durable ever made in the country;
  • Truly Low Consumption: Fazer and Lander outperform many modern scooters, with more power and less expense;
  • Durability and Ease of Maintenance: Workshops are well acquainted with all three motorcycles. Parts are cheap and abundant;
  • Well-Matched Cycle for Brazil: Each one serves a profile: city, road, adventure and even sporty riding;
  • Low Depreciation: These are motorcycles that almost do not lose value, especially the Lander and the Fazer.

This set creates the perfect scenario: inexpensive motorcycles to buy, cheap to maintain, economical, and strong.

Fazer 250, Lander 250 and MT-03 — The Triad of Cost-Benefit

These three Yamahas represent what really matters in a used motorcycle in 2025: real capability, usable torque, low consumption, comfort, and durability. They do not follow trends — they follow the logic of the motorcyclist who needs to work, travel or simply ride a lot without spending much.

In a market where new motorcycles are becoming increasingly expensive and complex, Fazer, Lander, and MT-03 emerge as the most intelligent and balanced choices in the country. They are undoubtedly the motorcycles that dominate cost-benefit in 2025.

Tem alguma coisa errada na matéria, porque Fazer e Lander, tem pouco mais de 21cv e MT-03 tem 40 CV, todas as motos custam muito mais de 22mil R$.
