Luxurious And Powerful, The Scania 770 S V8 Was Transformed Into A Motorhome Valued At R$ 3.3 Million, With A Structure Of 45 Square Meters, A Range Of 1,200 Km And Satellite Connection Technology.
The Scania 770 S V8, a model recognized for delivering 770 hp and 377.3 kgfm of torque, has been transformed into a luxury motorhome valued at R$ 3.3 million.
The conversion, carried out by the company Vegini, which specializes in custom projects, took two years to complete.
The vehicle belongs to entrepreneurs Marcos Juchem and Ana Patrícia Caye from Rio Grande do Sul, who are also the owners of Arlemar Transportes.

High-Performance Truck Adapted For Living
Before being adapted, the 770 S V8 already ranked among the most powerful trucks available on the Brazilian market.

According to information from Vegini, the original structure was preserved and integrated into the livable space of 45 square meters, an area expanded through a slide-out system that projects part of the body outwards when the vehicle is parked.
With the feature activated, the width reaches 4.4 meters.
The Scania cabin was maintained, with three additional premium finish seats, one of which is rotatable.
Access to the internal area is through a staircase with electric operation.
Internal Space Combines Living Room And Kitchen
Right at the entrance, the first area brings together a living room and kitchen in an integrated concept.
The space features a retractable sofa, fireplace, sink, wine cellar, refrigerator, and microwave.
The decor was defined by the owner Ana Patrícia Caye, who opted for light colors and indirect lighting.
The central corridor houses a bathroom and a shower stall.

The water reservoir has a capacity of 1,000 liters, and energy is supplied by an 8 kW diesel Cummins generator, equipped with a silencer.
The internet system is Starlink, from Elon Musk’s company, technology that allows satellite connection in areas with limited coverage.
Master Bedroom And Rest Area
The first bedroom, designed for the couple’s children, features a bunk bed and a single bed that can convert into a double bed, plus 21-inch televisions in each niche.
According to the design, there are six televisions distributed in different areas of the vehicle, including a 75-inch screen on the exterior.
The master suite is equipped with split air conditioning and various storage compartments.

Vegini claims that the focus of the assembly was to offer practicality and comfort without compromising space utilization.
On the outside, there is a second fully equipped kitchen, with a stove, sink, refrigerator, and freezer, in addition to a 12 kg washer-dryer.
The area is covered by a retractable electronic awning and features a JBL sound system.
Structure And Performance On The Road
The vehicle uses a 6×2 configuration and had its wheelbase extended from 3.35 meters to 7.35 meters, allowing for the installation of the livable body.
The total length is 13.5 meters and the height reaches 4.10 meters.
Steering is hydraulic and the transmission is 12-speed automated.

The engine is a V8 16-liter, with electronic injection and turbocharging, a feature that maintains performance even with the added weight of the residential structure.
The drum brakes come with the Scania retarder system, which acts as an auxiliary brake and reinforces the deceleration capacity.
The tires follow the measurement of 295/80 R22.5.
According to data from the manufacturer, the tank accommodates 395 liters, ensuring an approximate range of 1,200 km, depending on usage conditions and terrain.
Autonomy And Connectivity Features

To ensure independence from infrastructure, the project incorporates energy, storage, and communication solutions.
The diesel generator and water reservoir allow for autonomous operation for several days.
The Starlink system, already used by motorhomes in different countries, ensures internet access in remote regions away from urban centers, enabling the use of the vehicle as a mobile residence.
Space Optimization And Comfort
According to Vegini, the design of the motorhome prioritized the full utilization of internal and external compartments.
Niches under the furniture and side compartments were installed for storage.
Split climate control systems were adopted to reduce noise and maintain a stable temperature.
The slide-out, which expands the social area, can only be activated when the vehicle is stabilized, avoiding overloading the structure.
In the external area, the additional kitchen and the 75-inch screen are aimed at leisure moments.
The washer-dryer allows maintaining long travel routines without the need for frequent stops at laundries.
