The Youth Apprentice Program of Senai by the Brazilian Aluminum Company Will Have an Average Duration of 14 Months and Will Be Divided into Two Phases.

On July 27, the press office of the Brazilian Aluminum Company (CBA) announced that it is opening, in August, its youth apprentice program for candidates aged 18 to 22 who wish to work as production operators for the institution. To apply, the candidate must have a complete high school education. According to the institution, there is no maximum hiring limit for people with disabilities who decide to register through Senai.

Applications for the selection process of Youth Apprentice 2022 start only on the 8th of this month and should extend until the 21st through the institution’s portal at GUPY. There, the interested party must describe their experiences, whether they have worked as a youth apprentice, and also, which institution they graduated from. After that, just review the contact information and submit the application to wait for the institution to get in touch.

What Is the Duration of the Youth Apprentice Program at the Brazilian Aluminum Company?

According to the Brazilian Aluminum Company, the average duration of the youth apprentice program will be 14 months, with the provision of some benefits for interested parties, such as health insurance, dental plan, life insurance, shuttle bus, meals, and transportation allowance.

CBA states that it is seeking to value experiences and diversity alongside inclusion. Therefore, they also look for people who think differently, who are creative and align with the company’s corporate culture.

What Will the Selected Participants Have to Do?

The course for the youth apprentice, which will last for 14 months, will be aimed at those interested in working as Production Line Assistants and understanding more about documentation regulations, techniques, and workplace health to ensure safety for themselves and other employees of the brand. Another aspect that should be addressed throughout the course process is environmental consistency.

The program will be divided into two parts to assist the development of students, with the first being theoretical, where they will learn more about production operations within the industry, and in the second part, students will need to put their learnings into practice through the Senai course.

The selected participants’ work after completing the course will be in person in the city of  Itapissuma, located in the state of Pernambuco (PE). The average duration will be 20 hours per week through Senai, resulting in 4 hours per day.
