With V4 Engine, Renewed Design, and Lots of Technology, the New Muscle Cruiser from Ducati Arrives in Brazil for R$ 139,990. Check Out the Technical Specifications and Impressions.
The Ducati Diavel V4 2024, voted the “most beautiful motorcycle in the world” in 2024, has arrived in the Brazilian market with significant changes compared to its previous generation. The new version of the Italian muscle cruiser has replaced the two-cylinder engine with a powerful V4, becoming lighter, more technological, and featuring an even more aggressive design.
The name “Diavel” is inspired by the word “devil” in the Bologna dialect, Ducati’s hometown, and the fourth generation of the model lives up to the name with impressive performance, promising 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds. Next, we detail everything about this model.
What Has Changed in the New Ducati Diavel V4 2024?
The Ducati Diavel V4 2024 has been completely redesigned. The bike has lost the traditional trellis frame, which has been replaced by a more modern and lighter structure, where the engine itself is part of the assembly. In total, the bike is 13 kg lighter than the previous version, with a dry weight of 223 kg.

With a 293.5 cm³ engine and a range of up to 400 km with a 14.1-liter tank, the Honda CB 300F Twister 2026 has up to 24.7 hp, an initial price of R$ 25,150, and already exceeds R$ 29,000 in the Fipe Table.

With a 1.3 engine, nearly 700 km of range, and Turbo 200, the Fiat model surpasses Polo, Tera HB20, and Onix, becoming the best-selling car in March; see the numbers for the Fiat Strada and others.
The design is more robust, featuring new air intakes at the front and a renewed full LED lighting set. The highlight is the rear light, which has replaced the old light strips with a honeycomb-shaped array. The four-output exhaust and the new five-spoke lightweight wheels complete the look. The fuel tank capacity has also increased, going from 17 to 20 liters.
The Heart of the Bike: The V4 Granturismo Engine with 168 Horsepower

The main change in the Ducati Diavel V4 2024 is the engine. The old two-cylinder engine has been replaced by a V4 Granturismo of 1,158 cm³. Despite having a smaller displacement compared to its predecessor (1260cc), the new engine is lighter and more powerful, generating 168 horsepower at 10,750 rpm and 12.8 kgf.m of torque.
One of the most interesting technologies of the new engine is the system that shuts down two of the four cylinders at low revs. This happens automatically in the city, for example, to reduce fuel consumption and heat generated by the engine, increasing rider comfort in traffic. When the rider accelerates, all four cylinders come back to life to deliver full power.
Technology and Cycling: TFT Panel, Brembo Brakes, and More
The Ducati Diavel V4 2024 comes equipped with a state-of-the-art technology package. The panel is a 5-inch color TFT screen with smartphone connectivity, allowing the use of a curve-to-curve navigation system. The bike offers four riding modes (Sport, Touring, Urban, and Wet), traction control, launch control, and cruise control.
The cycling has also been improved. The front suspension features a fully adjustable 50 mm diameter inverted fork. At the rear, the monoshock has had its travel increased by 15 mm, reaching 145 mm. The braking system has been updated to the best available in the market, with Brembo Stylema calipers and dual 330 mm discs at the front.
Performance in the City and on the Road
In riding tests, the Ducati Diavel V4 2024 proved surprisingly docile in the city. The power delivery at low revs is smooth, making it easier to control in traffic than the previous generation. The main challenge in urban use is the wide handlebars, which require attention in narrow spaces.
On the road, the bike reveals its true vocation. The V4 engine delivers plenty of breath, with strong accelerations and vigorous recoveries. The riding position, with the new handlebars 20 mm closer to the rider, is comfortable and allows for long trips without fatigue.
Price, Consumption, and Positive and Negative Points
The Ducati Diavel V4 2024 was launched in Brazil with a suggested retail price starting at R$ 139,990, plus shipping. Regarding consumption, tests indicated an average of 18 km/l in the city and 10 km/l on the highway, during a sportier ride.
Positive Points: The design and finishing are highlights. The embedded technology is complete, the V4 engine is exciting, and the Brembo brakes are extremely efficient. The adjustable suspension and TFT panel also add to the positives.
Negative Points: The lack of a 12V or USB socket is a flaw in a modern motorcycle. The dealer network of Ducati in Brazil is still limited, and the maintenance cost is high, requiring premium gasoline.
