GE Power is a world leader in energy, providing equipment, solutions and services across the entire energy value chain, from generation to consumption. Operating in more than 180 countries, our technology produces one-third of the world's electricity, powers 90% of the world's power transmission utilities, and our software manages more than 40% of the world's energy.

GE Power took steps to become leaner and closer to our products and customers by creating two new business units. Gas Power is a unified gas lifecycle business that combines the teams of Power Headquarters, Gas Power Systems and Power Services. With this consolidation, the remaining energy businesses – Steam, Nuclear and Power Conversion – now operate in a separate portfolio with a focus on individual business strategy and performance.
