E-Commerce Giant Amazon Begins Recruitment With 700 Job Vacancies For Its New Distribution Center In RS

Operations of the E-Commerce Giant Amazon in the RS Region Are Expected to Generate Around Three Thousand Jobs. Recruitment and Selection Have Already Begun!

After Expressing Interest in Purchasing the Postal Service, the e-commerce giant Amazon has 700 job openings to work at its new distribution center that starts operating in October in Rio Grande do Sul. The expectation is that by the end of January next year, another thousand jobs will be opened, totaling 3,000 jobs in the region.

Amazon started the selection process last month to staff the distribution center in the 3SB Logistics Park, covering an area of 41,000 square meters built on the complex in Nova Santa Rita, along the BR-386.

The e-commerce company will occupy the largest area of the 3SB. The positions are for work at the Swiss company Kuehne+Nagel, which will operate the center, involving the movement of goods purchased through Amazon’s platform.

The American giant has not officially confirmed the distribution center to date, but the processes for the establishment of the logistics structure at the municipality of Nova Santa Rita are being handled in Amazon’s name.

The Operations Manager Luandre Sul, who coordinates recruitment and selection for these opportunities at Amazon, Angelina Vinci, confirms the total number of vacancies. “We currently have 700 openings, which may increase to a thousand by the end of January. The signal comes from the client and the market,” assures Angelina, who cannot disclose the contractors for confidentiality reasons.
