Librelato Finished 2022 With Reasons to Celebrate. The 20% Growth in Revenue Compared to the Previous Year Was Possible Thanks to 12,500 Units Sold from January to December, Reaching a Revenue of 2.1 Billion Reais.
According to the CEO of Librelato, José Carlos Sprícigo, this is due to the demand for higher profitability and better quality of the products offered by the company. A perfect combination of robustness, high quality, and availability that generated excellent results for Librelato, making 2022 a reason for celebration.
In 2022, Librelato established its dominance in the Brazilian market, achieving a market share of 14.2%. The success of the Evolut series was crucial for this growth, as the dump models led sales with 30% of the total, while the grain truck line contributed 17%.
The demand at the Librelato factories in Santa Catarina increased so much that more than 50 units were produced per day. Furthermore, 800 units were shipped to countries such as Paraguay, Chile, Uruguay, Bolivia, Colombia, Ghana, and Uganda.

With all this, Librelato expects to achieve significant growth and gain even more prominence in the Brazilian market. The company entered 2023 full of news, inaugurating an industrial unit in Içara (SC). The venture will generate 600 indirect jobs and make 140 direct hires. This expansion will bring Librelato to 1,800 professionals working for it, boosting the regional economy with great benefits.
Parts Sales
Librelato ended 2022 with 21 Libreparts stores scattered throughout Brazil, strategically distributed across the five regions. For 2023, the goal is to reach 30 units. However, 4 Box Libre Parts were installed in Caucaia (CE), Uruçuí (PI), Irecê (BA), and Imbituba (SC) to better serve customers. Thus, Librelato reaffirms its commitment to remain present in the main regions of the country.
In January, Sales of Road Implements Remained Strong and Stable. The Data Indicated That Products Destined for Vehicle Transport Are Maintaining Their Good Performance in the Market.
The Brazilian road implement industry recorded a significant stability in the number of transactions conducted in January 2023, according to the official balance from the National Association of Manufacturers of Road Implements (ANFIR). A total of 11,657 road implements were delivered and registered across Brazil, representing a minimal decrease of only 0.03% compared to the same period last year.
ANFIR also expects the results from Fenatran to be accounted for in the coming months, reinforcing the industry’s performance. When analyzing each segment separately, there was a growth of 3.67% in sales of truck bodies over chassis – 5,118 units sold – while the trailer and semitrailer segment recorded a slight decline of 2.75%, totaling 6,539 units sold.
