The goal of this cell is to improve the final product quality by standardizing the welding process. This will directly reflect on the greater satisfaction of the end customer.
For Librelato, there are numerous benefits from the use of this technology, such as a reduction in the time the implement takes to cross the assembly line. “Additionally, there will be an improvement in quality. Previously, the operator had to perform the operation manually as a welder, and now the machine will do the work, allowing the operator to grow and learn,” explains Rodrigo Corso, Operational Excellence Manager.
The professional highlights that Librelato will be the first implementer in Latin America to work with an automated system that welds the implement completely. “It is a truly large cell, of high complexity.”
The company chose several suppliers for the technology development. These partners handled the entire process, from assembly to product finalization on the assembly line.
Industry 4.0 Transforms The Entire Production Chain In Project And Manufacturing Areas
Industry 4.0 is responsible for transforming the entire production chain in the implement sector, from the project and manufacturing areas of products to the internal structure of the company and its communication with customers and suppliers. The application of industrial internet and robotics is shaking up the market and bringing innovations that can increase productivity and stimulate business.
“The Robotized Welding Cell Will Have Real-Time Integration. From my home, through my cellphone, I will be able to see what is happening in production, and this is a significant advancement for Librelato and its end customers,” concludes Rodrigo Corso.
Founded in 1969 in the city of Orleans, SC, Librelato is now one of the most innovative implement manufacturers in Brazil.
