ACCIONA ACADEMY Is Now Open for Enrollment Until December 31
ACCIONA – a leader in providing regenerative solutions for a decarbonized economy and active in the infrastructure and renewable energy segments – has just launched the ACCIONA ACADEMY in Brazil, a program for university students entering their penultimate year of undergraduate studies at the beginning of 2022. The idea is that 20 students can have their first contact with the professional world in a company that invests in sustainable development.

Find Out Who Can Participate in the ACADEMY Brazil Program
The program is aimed at students of Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Environmental), Psychology, Business Administration, Finance, Law, Marketing, Social Work, and related fields, residents of the greater São Paulo area, who will begin their penultimate year of college in February 2022, have proficiency in English, and possess a strong extracurricular and academic CV. Participants of the ACADEMY will have priority in the 2022 Internship Program selection process of the company.
“This is yet another initiative by ACCIONA aimed at preparing professionals for such a competitive market, as we know the difficulty many recent graduates face when they are about to start their careers,” explains Maria Castroviejo, responsible for Organization, Talent, and Health at ACCIONA in Brazil.

ACCIONA ACADEMY consists of activities such as: workshops in key skills training (communication, leadership, teamwork, agile methodologies, digitalization, negotiation, etc.), networking with company specialists, and guidance sessions.
The program is part of ACCIONA’s strategy to attract young talent, already established in other countries where the company operates, such as Spain, Chile, and Australia. In 2021, as part of this framework, ACCIONA launched its Internship Program in Brazil, hiring more than 20 young college students to work at the company’s headquarters and on the São Paulo Line 6-Laranja metro construction, mostly women, aligning with one of the company’s ESG pillars – diversity.

About ACCIONA ACADEMY
The ACCIONA ACADEMY program is an intensive two-week training, in-person format, providing the necessary tools to enhance participants’ employability.
Throughout the two weeks, activities such as: workshops in key skills training (communication, leadership, teamwork, agile methodologies, digitalization, negotiation, etc.), networking with ACCIONA specialists, guidance sessions, among others, will take place. The program will run from January 31 to February 11 in the morning, in the Vila Olímpia neighborhood of São Paulo. Enrollment is open until December 31 and can be done here.
