The TRAX, the newest mid-size SUV from Chevrolet, is ready to conquer Brazil. Originally called Seeker in China, where it was developed, the TRAX comes to replace the Cruze, which is no longer sold. Manufactured in Mexico, like the Equinox, GM’s new mid-size SUV promises to be a thorn in the side of models like the Jeep Compass, Volkswagen Taos, and Toyota Corolla Cross.

With a length of 4.53 m, a wheelbase of 2.70 m, a width of 1.82 m, and a height of 1.56 m, the TRAX stands out with its modern and robust design. In terms of technology, GM’s mid-size SUV is complete: keyless entry, premium sound system, seats with electric adjustments, heating and ventilation, panoramic sunroof, start-stop, electronic parking brake, and much more. The multimedia system features a 10.2-inch screen, wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, native GPS, and a rearview camera.
Safety
Safety is another highlight of the TRAX. From the base model, the SUV comes with six airbags, traction and stability controls, four-wheel ABS disc brakes, collision alert, autonomous emergency braking, and lane-keeping assist. The more complete versions add lane departure warning, pedestrian and cyclist detection, blind spot alert, automatic high beam switching, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control.
