Federal Institute of Sergipe Offers Opportunities in Free Professional Qualification Courses

The Federal Institute of Sergipe (IFS) has just opened vacancies for free professional qualification courses, including undergraduate and subsequent technical programs. Applications are open until August 5, with opportunities for the second semester of this year.

The vacancies are distributed among several units of the Federal Institute of Sergipe. For undergraduate courses, options are available in Aracaju, Lagarto, and São Cristóvão. Subsequent technical courses can be found in Aracaju, São Cristóvão, Estância, Lagarto, Propriá, Socorro, Itabaiana, and Tobias Barreto.

About the Vacancies

Half of the vacancies offered by the Federal Institute of Sergipe are for open competition, while 5% are reserved for people with disabilities (PwD). Additionally, 25% of the vacancies are for Black and Indigenous students from public schools, and another 25% are for students from public schools in general. Candidates who self-declare as Black will undergo an ethnic-racial heteroidentification evaluation, while PwD candidates will be subjected to a medical-expert assessment.

Applications can be submitted online through a form available on the IFS website. The selection process for undergraduate courses is based on the Enem report from editions 2013 to 2023, while the selection process for subsequent technical courses will be conducted by public electronic draw.
