Surprising Innovation: Meet the Photovoltaic Fence That Promises to Replace Solar Panels and Bring More Practicality and Efficiency to Solar Energy Generation for Your Home
The generation of solar energy has become one of the most sought-after solutions in times of constant fluctuations in electricity prices and the search for more sustainable alternatives. As a result, producing your own electricity is no longer just a viable option; it is also a strategic choice both for saving money and for reducing environmental impact. It is in this scenario that a French company is gaining attention by presenting an innovation that could change our perception of fences: the photovoltaic solar fence.

Innovation in Solar Energy Generation
The French company Closura, known for producing fences and gates in the Charente region, is leading this new solution. It has just launched the Plug & Play photovoltaic solar fence, which is capable of generating solar energy.
In addition to serving as physical protection for properties, this fence also transforms sunlight into electricity, making it a practical and sustainable option for those looking to adopt solar energy generation.

Piauí reaches a historic milestone in energy transition: State records nearly 160,000 households powered by solar energy and leads growth in the Northeast.
The big innovation of Closura’s solar fence lies in its simplicity of installation and maintenance. With vertical solar panels covering the structure, this fence is not only easy to assemble but also remains efficient over time.
Its panels are hail-resistant and, as they do not retain water, ensure greater durability, making them ideal for various weather conditions, especially in coastal areas. The marine aluminum structure, combined with the functionality of the panels, also allows this solution to be installed without the need for special permits, as long as the fence is up to 180 cm high and produces up to 3 kWp of power.
Power and Aesthetics as Differentiators
The power generated by this innovation is also a differentiator. Six solar panels installed on the fence are sufficient to generate up to 2 kWp of energy, which could power a washing machine, for instance. With solar energy generation directly from the fence, it is possible to supply not only households but also electric vehicles, making this technology even more attractive at a time when the electrification of homes and transportation is on the rise.
Aesthetics have also been taken into account. Closura’s solar fence is available in 15 colors, with wiring and protections carefully disguised to maintain an elegant appearance. Additionally, its maintenance is simple, requiring only water and a mild detergent, which makes it easy to care for the panels and ensures maximum efficiency over the years.
