PTT Exploration and Production (PTTEP) Signed an MoU with Mahidol University for Academic Collaboration in CCS Technologies and Geosciences.
The Thai oil and gas giant PTT Exploration and Production (PTTEP) is taking a significant step in advancing carbon capture and storage (CCS) technology in Thailand. In partnership with Mahidol University, the company signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to further develop these technologies and skills in the country.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed as part of the PTTEP Subsurface University Energy Connect project, reaffirming the company’s commitment to innovation and sustainability. This joint effort aims to conduct research studies in geosciences and petroleum engineering, as well as to create specialized professionals in oil exploration and production, while also seeking to explore carbon storage sites.
