With Optimism, Quinto Energy Envisions the Future Through Green Fuels in Bahia
Quinto Energy sees a future where Bahia goes beyond discussions about the viability of green hydrogen and enters the era of producing H2V derivatives. “Our strategic location offers ideal conditions for renewable energy generation.
Bahia already has adequate infrastructure, with ports for chemical transport and a petrochemical hub considered the largest Interlinked Industrial Complex in the Southern Hemisphere. The government is committed to ensuring legal security for sector enterprises.
And, more importantly, projects in wind, solar, and green hydrogen energy are advancing rapidly,” Rafael explained.
The Event Propelling Commercial Opportunities
The event served as a platform to strengthen trade relations with China, with investors showing interest in various productive sectors of the state of Bahia.
In the energy sector, Quinto Energy’s projects stood out as a model of the progress that Bahia has made. The company is in an advanced stage of developing five hybrid complexes for wind and solar energy generation, totaling an installed capacity of 14 GW.
The Convergence of Potential for Bahia
The CEO of Quinto Energy emphasized Bahia’s capacity to become the leading producer of green fuels derived from hydrogen, such as SAF, e-diesel, e-gasoline, as well as urea used as green fertilizer in agribusiness. All of this demonstrates that Bahia is paving the way to become a major player in the global production of green fuels.
