New Attraction of Beto Carrero World Blends Real Cars, Illuminated Tracks and Total Immersion in the Hot Wheels Universe, Offering a Family Experience with Controlled Adrenaline and High Visual Impact Scenarios

Beto Carrero World, the largest theme park in Latin America, has just unveiled its new attraction: the Hot Wheels Turbo Drive, an experience that allows visitors to drive cars inspired by Mattel’s iconic toy line. The novelty combines technology, design, and entertainment, reinforcing the presence of the Hot Wheels brand in the park.

With illuminated tracks, sound effects, smoke, and light, the ride invites children and adults to experience the sensation of being inside a real scale slot car track. Located in the Hot Wheels themed area, next to the show arena and the Big Tower, now renamed Hot Wheels Big Drop, the Turbo Drive promises to be one of the most sought-after spots in the park in the coming months.

Immersive Experience with Real Cars and Dynamic Scenario

The main proposal of the Hot Wheels Turbo Drive is to simulate driving a full-size Hot Wheels car, maintaining the sensation of speed and control on a course filled with curves, lights, and sounds.

Each vehicle accommodates up to two passengers, allowing families and friends to share the ride.

Despite its appearance as a radical toy, the attraction was designed to cater to all ages, with a minimum height of 95 centimeters to board and 1.30 meters to take the wheel.

The circuit, while guided by tracks, requires a certain degree of skill, making the experience more interactive and fun.

Technology, Partnership and Expansion of the Hot Wheels Brand in the Park

The inauguration featured the attendance of Kate Milford, production and operations manager at Mattel, who highlighted the development process of the project in partnership with Beto Carrero World.

According to her, the attraction reflects the brand’s commitment to creating physical experiences that expand the universe of toys into real entertainment.

Alex Murad, president of the park, also emphasized the importance of collaboration with international brands like Mattel and DreamWorks, which have been consolidating Beto Carrero as a reference in global standard themed experiences.

In recent years, the park has been betting on licensed attractions that combine nostalgia, innovation, and cinematic visual appeal.

The Hot Wheels Turbo Drive was designed as a mid-tier attraction, balancing excitement and safety.

It is not an extreme roller coaster, but an immersive and colorful experience, ideal for families.

With dynamic lights, realistic sound effects, and detailed ambiance, the circuit guarantees fun moments without requiring the courage of an adventurer.

Due to its immediate popularity, long lines are expected in the first months.

Visitors can opt for the Fast Pass to reduce waiting time and make the most of their day.

The Hot Wheels area remains one of the most visited in the park, featuring the Epic Show and other themed attractions inspired by the brand.

Impact on Tourism and Identity of the Park

The launch reinforces Beto Carrero’s positioning as Brazil’s main entertainment destination, expanding the tourist reach of the Penha (SC) region.

The partnership with major global brands continues as a strategy to keep the park competitive against international destinations and attract new audiences.

With the Hot Wheels Turbo Drive, the park strengthens its image as a space of innovation and nostalgia, where parents and children share memories with characters and brands that transcend generations.

Investing in brand experiences creates a new level of expectation for visitors and projects the park in international outreach campaigns.

Do you think Beto Carrero is right to invest in licensed attractions like this? Or do you prefer the park’s original experiences? Share your opinion in the comments—we want to hear from those who live it in practice.

Achei muito bolinho, eu e meus netos após uma hora na fila achamos que o carrinho andaria, mas parece uma tartaruga, os meninos falaram: perdemos uma hora para andar nessa titica.
