Brazil Is About to Receive a New Factory in the Agro-Industrial Sector, with Opening Scheduled for September 26. This Venture Marks Only the Beginning of the Ambitious Plans of the Responsible Company.
Excellent news for the economy of Piauí and the agro-industrial sector: a new feed factory will be inaugurated in the city of Altos on September 26, bringing more jobs and development to the region. The factory will specialize in the production of chicken feed and promises to positively impact the market, generating around 100 new direct jobs.
This investment not only strengthens local production but also helps expand the company’s reach to important markets such as Maranhão. And, of course, it creates more opportunities for the local population. Want to know more details about this project? We’ll tell you everything!
Factory Will Generate 100 Direct Jobs and Move the Local Economy
The city of Altos in Piauí was strategically chosen to receive the new feed factory. Its location favors logistics and facilitates access to markets in the North and Northeast, making the venture even more competitive. With the creation of 100 new direct jobs, the factory’s inauguration is already a cause for celebration among local residents, who will have the opportunity to enter the job market in a growing sector.

In addition to direct jobs, the factory will also have a positive impact on the entire production chain. According to Victor Lima, president of Atlântica Agroindustrial, the company responsible for the project, the idea is that local feed production will contribute to a more competitive production chain, as well as support the development of partners and chicken producers.
Productive Capacity and High Technology in the New Factory
The new feed factory will not only generate more jobs but will also have an impressive productive capacity. Initially, the factory will operate with one shift, producing around 5,260 tons of feed per month. However, the company already plans to double this production by implementing a second shift of operation, further increasing its capacity and market impact.
One of the great differentiators of this venture is the use of automation technology in the production process. The factory will be able to produce up to 30 tons of feed per hour, optimizing efficiency and product quality. In addition, the unit will feature a series of extruders for processing soybeans, with the capacity to process eight tons per hour.
This level of automation not only improves efficiency but also reduces waste, which is a great step towards sustainability in production.
Local Production with Grains from Piauí
Another interesting aspect of the new feed factory is the fact that it will use grains produced in the state itself to manufacture feed. The factory will work with corn, millet, sorghum, and soybeans, all sourced from Piauí. This further strengthens the local economy and creates a more sustainable production cycle, as inputs will not need to be transported from other states, reducing environmental impact and logistics costs.
This choice of local inputs also benefits the region’s farmers, who will have a steady demand for their products, encouraging agricultural production and promoting rural development in the state.
Planned Expansion and New Projects
The inauguration of the new feed factory is just the beginning of Atlântica Agroindustrial’s ambitious plans for Piauí. According to Victor Lima, the company also aims to set up a commercial egg production farm in the state, further strengthening the poultry sector. This project is expected to generate even more jobs and increase the region’s competitiveness in the food market.
With the new feed factory and the future egg farm, Atlântica Agroindustrial aims to consolidate its presence in Piauí and become a reference in the sector. The company already operates in the region, generating around 100 direct jobs, and with the new investments, this number is expected to grow even more in the coming years.
The factory’s strategic location, near BR-101 and Maranhão, facilitates the distribution of feed and derived products such as chickens and eggs to other regions of Brazil. This positions Piauí prominently on the map of national agro-industry, which could attract even more investments in the future.
