The objective of the university internship is to hire, out of the total number of candidates, at least 52% women, 45% black individuals, and 15 affirmative positions for people with disabilities. For the technical internship, the target includes equal numbers for women and black individuals.
Students who enter Braskem through the positions without experience will have the opportunity to access an English scholarship if they have up to the basic level of the language, or, as an affirmative action, if they declare themselves as black or brown individuals. Additionally, the company will provide training in software tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI to level up their skills.

Focused on providing a more diverse and inclusive work environment, Braskem started its registration process for its internship program on August 15.
Those interested in participating must register by September 11 through the company’s official website. In this edition of the program, there will be 223 positions available in 5 states where the company operates, namely São Paulo, Rio Grande do Sul, Bahia, Rio de Janeiro, and Alagoas.
According to Camila Fossati, Director of Organizational Development at Braskem, having individuals from diverse backgrounds, personalities, stories, and characteristics enriches the program and positively impacts the company’s performance.
The director explains that diversity and inclusion have been a priority in the program over the years and will continue to be so in this cycle. Braskem understands that positions without experience serve as a gateway for career development and, therefore, holds an essential role as an employer: to enhance the development of underrepresented groups that have historically been deprived of opportunities and access.
