The aesthetic standard of the exterior is repeated inside the cabin, where there is little hard plastic and much material that mimics leather.

The BYD Song Plus features the DM-i powertrain, which combines a 1.5 naturally aspirated engine producing 110 horsepower and 13.8 kgfm with an electric motor of 179 horsepower and 32.2 kgfm. The Chinese brand did not disclose the combined power and torque figures, and charging the small 8.3 kWh battery has a maximum power of 3.3 kW, which practically means 2h30 on the plug for a range of 51 km in 100% electric mode.
