With the significant rise of electric cars, the Taiwanese company Foxconn, known for being the main manufacturer of the iPhone, is investing in its entry into this market, recently presenting a solution for the budget electric vehicle sector, called Project X, which could be the first electric model in the market.

The project was presented at the MiH Demo Day event, organized by the Mobility in Harmony (MiH) consortium, led by the company, which also includes companies like Microsoft, Tata, Lordstown, among others. It is important to highlight that the project for developing a cheap electric car is still in its early stages.

Now, the MiH consortium is looking for partners to contribute to the development of the platform, that is, to invest in the project and share their technologies. The project is part of the Build Your Own Vehicle electric car ecosystem. The use of a modular design may reduce the final cost of the budget electric car, making it even more accessible.
