China Has Been Massively Investing in Space Discoveries Since 2003.

During last Saturday, June 4th, the China Manned Space Agency stated in a press conference that they were interested in traveling more with more people to space, in order for the country to complete the construction of the space station. According to the agency, it is estimated that the Shenzhou 14 mission, consisting of three people, will need to spend six months in Tiangong, the station created by the Chinese.

The spacecraft is scheduled to launch this Sunday, June 12th, at 10:44 AM. The Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center will be responsible for launching the flight at the edge of the Gobi Desert. Chen Dong will be the person in charge of leading the team participating in the project. The structure of the station’s module, according to international sources, is expected to arrive between July and October.

Space Man Published the Results of the Last Chinese Expedition, Five Years Ago

The YouTube channel belonging to Space Man published a video presenting more about the results of the last Chinese expedition, which reportedly took place five years ago.

Shenzhou 11 from China Already Went to Space in 2016

Chen, 43, stated that the arrival of new modules for the construction of the space station would allow scientists to send more people to the location with advanced stability. He also participated in the mission conducted in 2016 and expressed optimism about the results the research is achieving. Meanwhile, Cai, who is 46, claims that this is his first trip to space.

Records show that China launched its first rocket to build a station through a space program developed in 2003. Since then, they have been developing technologies aimed at facilitating the process of developing and creating special supports.

Currently, it is important to note that all management and investment for scientific discoveries belong to the Communist Party. As a consequence, the United States has been excluded from the system created by the People’s Liberation Army of China.

Space Race Continues for Various Reasons

Although not explicitly declared, the space race is happening for various reasons. A clear example of this is Elon Musk, owner of Tesla. He is massively investing to go to Mars in 2029.

Analysts claim that Musk’s idea of going to a completely unknown planet would be to capture a portion of local metals for use in car manufacturing, thus compensating for the productivity shortfall of mines after the pandemic. However, this is merely speculation and the true reason has not been revealed by the billionaire.

Even with Tesla’s weakening, to the point that sources leaked that Musk had sent a corporate email informing that they needed to cut at least 10% of all job positions at the institution due to “poor market forecast,” the billionaire continues to invest massively in research for the trip to Mars.

The mining sector is also showing interest in space. Research shows that it is through some sites found in space that access to super expensive metals is available, such as gold and lithium, which can be used to meet the demands of the global industry and, in this way, enable full scientific development.
