Energisa Customers Compete for Two Years of Free Bill

The raffle prize can reach R$ 6,000 for two years for those who use PIX or automatic debit.

If one year of free electricity was good, imagine two. After the success of the last campaign, Energisa customers who pay their electricity bills using the PIX QR Code or automatic debit can compete for up to R$ 6,000, which will be divided into monthly discounts on their electricity bills for up to two years.

The promotion runs until January 15, 2024, and customers can register until December of this year on the website https://pix.energisa.com.br/, at the service kiosks of the agencies, at Gisa at https://gisa.energisa.com.br/ or through the Energisa App. “It is important to emphasize that the sooner customers register and make payments via the PIX QR Code on their electricity bills or through automatic debit, the more chances they will have. Draws will take place monthly, and customers will receive lucky numbers for each bill paid,” explains Cristiana Rios, Financial Resources Manager at Energisa.

The promotion is valid for all customers registered as ‘Individuals’ from all units of the Energisa Group: Minas Rio, Paraíba, Sergipe, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Tocantins, Paraná, São Paulo, Rondônia, and Acre. In the last promotion, held between 2021 and 2022, Energisa awarded 87 customers from the 11 states where it operates. There were over R$ 400,000 in discounts on electricity bills. 

Energisa was the pioneer among electricity distributors to include the PIX QR Code on electricity bills.  With the tool, customers can pay their electricity bill even on weekends and in less than ten seconds, using only cell phone apps, including the Energisa ON, available in app stores.

Currently, on average, about 27% of electricity bill payments at Energisa are via PIX. This confirms that customers want more convenience in their daily lives, and Energisa is attentive to their expectations. With the ease of digital channels and the adherence of customers to the last campaign, we managed to increase the number of registrations for payments solely with PIX by 280,000.

Make a PIX

To participate, consumers must pay their electricity bills using the PIX QR Code and register on the website https://pix.energisa.com.br/. Payment through the system is easy. Customers have two options:

·     – simply open the app of their preferred bank or digital wallet, choose the PIX option, point the phone camera at the QR Code printed on the electricity bill, check the details, and you’re done; or

·       – use the ‘Pix Copy and Paste’ option. With it, you paste the code related to the QR Code when you are using your phone and cannot use the camera to read the QR Code. This option can also be used in online banking.

With PIX, payment can be made at any time and day, including on weekends and holidays. 

An important guideline: to make the payment, the customer must use the QR Code available on the printed invoices or select this payment option directly in the Energisa ON app or any other official service channel of the distributor. Additionally, check the recipient’s details before making the payment.
