The BYD Tan can be charged up to 80% in just 30 minutes at a 110 kW fast charging station, thanks to its 86.4 kWh battery with new technology. Its combined range is 437 km in exclusive urban use and 395 km on the highway.

The new electric SUV from BYD features two electric motors, one on each axle, with 245 hp in the front and 272 hp in the rear, delivering a combined power of 517 horsepower and a maximum torque of 69.4 kgfm. Thus, the BYD Tan can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds and can reach a top speed of 186 km/h.

The model was designed in accordance with the latest design language from the Chinese company. In terms of style, BYD’s international design team, led by Wolfgang Egger, a renowned designer and former head of design at Audi, attempted to combine European design with Eastern heritage, ensuring an aggressive and imposing design for the electric SUV.

The newest electric vehicle on the Brazilian automotive market features a panoramic glass roof, synthetic leather seats, a soft-touch dashboard, electric seats with ventilation and heating, dual-zone air conditioning with an ionizer and purification system, wireless charging for phones, and many more.

The New Electric SUV Will Be a Strong Competitor to the Audi E-tron, Jaguar I-Pace, Mercedes EQC 400, Porsche Cayenne Hybrid, and Volvo XC40 Electric Models
