Trail 250 Arrives in the 2026 Lineup with New Color, App Connectivity, 220 mm Suspension, and a Well-Known Mechanical Set for Brazilian Consumers, Focusing on Versatility, Robustness, and Digital Integration in the Mid-Displacement Segment.

Yamaha has started selling the Lander Connected 2026 in Brazil, keeping the well-known mechanical set for the public and focusing the updates on the finish and the offer of embedded connectivity.

The model retains the versatility proposal for urban use and off-road sections, a characteristic that sustains its presence in the mid-displacement trail segment.

Equipped with a 249 cm³ single-cylinder engine, the motorcycle delivers 20.9 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 2.1 kgf.m of torque at 6,000 rpm, numbers already established in the lineup.

The engine works in conjunction with a five-speed manual gearbox, maintaining the configuration recognized for its durability and considered simple maintenance within the category.

Without deep structural changes for 2026, the manufacturer opted to reinforce attributes already valued by consumers, such as mechanical robustness and a balance between performance and fuel economy.

The strategy avoids radical changes and bets on the continuity of a technical package that had already been offered in the previous Connected version.

New Color and Enhanced Finish in the 2026 Lineup

Visually, the main update is the inclusion of the color Atacama Brown, which expands the palette alongside the Titanium Grey, Amazon Green, and Racing Blue options.

Yamaha Lander Connected 2026 comes with a 250 cc engine of 20.9 hp, 220 mm suspension, front ABS, and connectivity via Y-Connect in Brazil.

Additionally, the brand has made adjustments to the finish of the headlight and tank fairings, aiming to elevate the perception of quality without altering the adventurous identity of the set.

The design maintains the LED projector headlight, a solution that keeps the modern signature of the lineup and reinforces the technological proposal of the Connected version.

The configuration preserves elements already known from the model, with no changes to the chassis structure or the overall dimensions previously disclosed by the manufacturer.

220 mm Suspension and Front ABS Maintained

In terms of cycling, the Lander Connected 2026 maintains the telescopic fork with 220 millimeters of travel at the front, a measure associated with its proposal to tackle road irregularities and dirt sections.

At the rear, the Monocross system with link continues to be responsible for absorbing impacts, contributing to comfort in different usage conditions.

The braking system remains with discs on both wheels, measuring 245 millimeters at the front and 203 millimeters at the rear, a configuration already adopted in the previous lineup.

The ABS only activates on the front wheel, a feature that remains standard for the model and complies with the current legislation for the category in the country.

The mixed-use proposal is reinforced by this combination of long-travel suspension and front anti-lock brakes, seeking a balance between safety and control.

Still, Yamaha has not announced structural changes to the cycling set for this annual update.

Digital Dashboard and Connectivity with Y-Connect

Yamaha Lander Connected 2026 comes with a 250 cc engine of 20.9 hp, 220 mm suspension, front ABS, and connectivity via Y-Connect in Brazil.

At the controls, the dashboard remains fully digital, with a “Blackout” style visual, and retains integration with Yamaha Motorcycle Connect (Y-Connect) via Bluetooth connection with the rider’s smartphone.

Through the app, the user can track data such as average consumption, trip history, maintenance notifications, and the last recorded location during pairing.

These features enhance interaction with the vehicle and align with a growing trend of digitalization among mid-displacement motorcycles as well.

The technology package also includes a 12V socket positioned near the dashboard, facilitating the use of electronic devices during the ride.

This solution primarily meets the needs of those using the motorcycle for daily commutes or short trips, where charging a cellphone becomes necessary.

Range and 13.6-Liter Tank

Regarding range, the title mentions a reach of up to 450 kilometers, an estimate generally associated with ideal consumption conditions and the 13.6-liter tank disclosed for the lineup.

The result may vary depending on riding style, load carried, terrain type, and pace adopted by the rider.

The manufacturer has not made any changes to the tank capacity or disclosed new official specific consumption figures for the 2026 lineup.

Thus, the maximum range mentioned relies on averages recorded in real usage and does not constitute a fixed value guaranteed in any situation.

Suggested Price and Four-Year Warranty

The suggested public price for the Lander Connected 2026 is R$ 29,290, excluding freight, positioning the model among the main options in the 250 trail segment in the Brazilian market.

Yamaha maintains four years of warranty and the Fixed Price Review program as part of the commercial package.

With this update, the company reinforces the strategy of gradual evolutions, prioritizing connectivity and finish over deep mechanical changes.

The model remains supported by a set already known to the public and aimed at those seeking versatility, constructive simplicity, and integrated digital resources.

The 2026 lineup consolidates the Lander Connected as one of the representatives of the category that combines a 250 cc engine, long-travel suspension, and integration with its own app.

The adopted positioning indicates the continuity of a formula that prioritizes technical balance and maintenance of characteristics already established in the national market.
